Hello, what did you do with the eject button on your cartridge? THANKS
@Phraseblaster3 ай бұрын
That's the downside with this kit. I needed to remove the two "ramps" that push out the cartridge to make space for the PCB. So the eject slider can't be used anymore. But this isn't a big deal. You can just pull out the games.

by the way, could you explain one thing ? I've tried to adjust bias ( should be 24 mV after 10 min after warming up - in service manual) and noticed that after 10 min I have 24 mV, but after 20-30 min, when elements became warmer, the voltage is 20-21 mV. is it critical ? I have no experience with amps, unfortunately. thank you in advance.

I tried doing this but may have messed it up somewhere in the process. Should all 3 wipers face downwards like shown at 2:17? Right now the motor doesn't run when I try to change inputs. Only the lights change.
@Phraseblaster Жыл бұрын
As far as i remember the motor axis is keyed, so as long the wipers face in the same direction, you should be fine. But i don't know why your motor isn't turning. Maybe there is a service manual explaining the circuit? I'd check the solderjoints on the motor first.

This is a great tutorial. Is there another way to clean this without desoldering the board?
@Phraseblaster2 жыл бұрын
Hmm, i wouldn't recommend it. You could try to get some cleaner through the underside of the switch. But you should then move the switches to clean the conductive tracks. But that will not be possible with the motor connected. I think desoldering is the easiest an most reliable way.

Great tutorial. Before you start, do you need to set the input selector in a specific input like phono or tape 1?
@Phraseblaster2 жыл бұрын
As far as i know, this shouldn't make a difference. But the wipers should face the same direction when you reassemble the switch.

I cant find the points to put my temp battery on my Zelda OOT cartridge. How do i do that
@Phraseblaster3 жыл бұрын
I just had a look inside my (PAL) OOT Cartridge. There are two resistors R1 and R2. You can use their solder points near the battery. R1 is positive and R2 should be negative. If your PCB is different it might be a good idea to trace the track to a different point and check if battery voltage is present there. Assuming the original battery isn't dead.

How to find out the places where I need to solder the temporary battery on ? How to find out whichone is negative and which is positive ?

The wider tab on the old battery is usually positive, the smaller one is negative. Look for points on the PCB, which are connected.
