17:35 top 5 board clears from top of my head: poison seeds, defile, devolve (if it counts), buffed enter the colosseum, domino effect. Didnt count combos like flurgul + tox, skiper + barov, etc.

I remember when Poison Seeds was teased I thought “WOW THATS BROKEN” then it was awful for years. Now its a consideration for best clears ever, how times have changed.

@@MartianBuu I think the Poison Seeds + Spreading Plague combo was really what pushed it. Also druid getting insane amount of armor gain cards allowing to easily dismiss 14 damage per turn a lot of the time

@Evoleo yup, spreading plague was what made it good. And the ridiculous amount of healing/armor druid has access to is what keeps it good. It’s my favorite little redemption story for a card.

This has to be the most successful mini set of all time, no? I know it had more cards than average, but it truly did feel like an expansion. The mini set had more impact on the meta than some expansions have.

Resonance Coil is the attack from the Tempest. It’s a capital ship with a charge up attack, and has a damage over time for buildings. It’s known for just the worst ground attack… silly unit

I almost built a renathal list. Would have piper and buddy, but I ended up not putting it together cause I thought the last 5 slots would be bad

@@MartianBuu The Standard list has Bob, Mind Control Tech and Astral Phaser to keep Taunts in check. There's also Popular Pixie for redundancy in doubling the hero power. Arkonite Revelation and Frost Lotus Seedling are the best card draw we have in Standard, and while Guidance is clearly better, Seedling also doubles as survivability.

Whenever my opponent uses one of these disgustingly ugly legendary skins I wish I could pay money to not see them, they're THAT bad. It genuinely feels to me like my opponent paid money to ruin my experience with uncanny valley cringe it's that bad and I just want to be able to turn them off so badly.
