Yes if the requirements on the advert state so.. mostly they consider your majors and field of specializations . But try to inquire from the principal of the school before applying , schools are not the same you know.

Phonic is the sound of a letter ,example with letter s ,the sound is of a snake (ssssss) . While alphabet letter is the name of the letter symbol as in… just the normal way we read the alphabetical letter. Like a-eii b-bii c- siii They are are integrated in teaching languages mostly on reading skills. When a child is fluent in all the 42 sounds they can easily read, even English..phonic is another word of sound. So if a child knows all 42 sounds they can read both English and Oshindonga

honestly I have not attended any interview for private schools..I have no idea on what they really ask but I believe there can’t be a huge difference with public schools , trust things are more or less the same.
