I lived on Hickam Air Force base on Oahu , Hawaii from the mid 60's to 69 , I was 10 to 12 years old and I fished the mouth of Pearl Harbor all the time . I couldn't tell you HOW MANY BABY HAMMERHEAD sharks I caught ! I don't know why, to this day there were SO many . If someone knows please let me know , ALOHA !

There is 7 internal anodes total for that motor You guys missing an internal anode that located at the bottom of middle section .

I was curious how often y’all lube the swivel bracket. Pre Cancer I was a Gheenoe owner since the age of 14. (9.9 tiller) Now that I have a “real flats boat and 5 hours from the nearest salt/brackish water, the 115 Suzuki is going to sit months at a time. (OCD is a terrible thing to waste)

Thanks for the video. I bought a used Flats Boat with a 2019 Suzuki 115 hp. A lifetime with Yamaha outboards, but this is my first Suzuki and I thought I’d flush the system and change the oil in the lower unit. (Atlanta to Everglade City will be the first trip, after the hurricane cleanup. I’d feel bad if I were out fishing while others are struggling with getting their lives back together. Recent cancer survivor, and had a year off from everything other than Emory Healthcare…) Couldn’t help but notice the Sarasota tag on your trailer. Ground Zero for Milton. Hoping you and yours got through it without too much damage. Thank you again for putting the video together and posting.

You are welcome and hope it helped you! Yes I do live in Sarasota County and we got lucky this time. With Hurricane Ian we had flooding in the house so very thankful but sure that was a close one! @@AnglingwithAdria You are too kind. Most of all, I’m glad you and your family are doing well after the past two hurricanes. Hopefully that’ll be the last direct/near direct hits you’ll have for a while. I bought a 2008 Ranger Ghost with a 2019 Suzuki 115. The gentleman I bought it from was a chemo/radiation buddy last year. (There’s some really cool bond you develop with people you fight cancer with. Male-Female, Democrat-Republican, rich or poor, etc. Scott told me the motor had been serviced not too long ago and the boat was garage kept. I can believe the “garage kept”. No oxidation and the non-skid deck is clean enough I dump my MacDonalds Happy Meal on the deck and eat off it. But as I get older I’m turning into my father… He’s one of those that “Measure Twice, Cut Once.” types. I think before I take the boat to the Everglades I’ll change the oil and filter, and the oil in the lower unit and give the motor a good flush. (Everglades is NOT the place to break down)
