So you can’t target rock, ling, and sabiki at the same time? Wth

Not legally. Once you have landed any rockfish you can no longer use sabikis either. Strange rules

First time I've seen someone rig two trebles on a single leader.. that's a good idea. How do you tie them on? Similar to a double drop-shot without a weight on the end?
@BetterOddsFishingАй бұрын
Exactly! I just add a dropper loop where I want the second treble 👍 Best of luck out there!

I thanks for the video, I do have a question. I need to make some loops out of that line extreme looks like you had is that right? In the connectors to connect it? Thanks
@BetterOddsFishingАй бұрын
@@Doorass-uu8nv I suggest buying a crab snare from your local tackle shop. Building your own isn’t worth your time unless it is your passion. If you do want to replace some loops I suggest 100lb+ hard monofilament, and matching crimps. If the question is pertaining to the angle of the loops, they don’t matter. As long as the loops are open they can catch crab. Hope this helps

Thank you, first timer here, does your snare move a little before set, my boy and i are learning, this may be a silly question.
@BetterOddsFishing2 ай бұрын
When I am planning on retrieving a crab I will pick up my rod, drop my rod tip and then slowly reel in all of the slack line until you feel the weight of the crab. At this point increase your reeling speed and lift your rod tip to avoid any slack. Keep tension until the crab is well on shore, and walk backwards if reeling becomes dificult. Best of luck out there!

I am curious as to what type of net that was that you drop down from the pier to pull up your catch. I’ve never fist from up here before and never seen a net like that? Your video quality is amazing and so is your demeanor man. Keep at it.
@BetterOddsFishing2 ай бұрын
Thank you! I was using a “bridge landing net.” If you are unable to find one, you could always remove the center ring from a crab hoop net and it will work the same.

@@lenbata it depends where you are fishing. From the surf you are allowed as many rods as you can manage. Depending on wave energy I run between 2-4 rods, with 4 rods being nonstop casting and checking each one.
