India plans to apply for hosting the 2036 games with programs in swimming, cycling and other events which have more than 200 medals allocated. It takes decades for these programs to mature and making negative comments such as heart breaking, crashing, or bad news for losing out in the matches is not good for the future India needs about 300+ qualifiers to compete with China and so the losers in these matches will become future assistance coaches for the 2036 games The physical school teacher or PT has to look at weight and length of an infant babies reports made by the doctors at birth. If after 10 years of age you can seperate them to different sporting activities from about 10 crore kids in high school depending on weight and height at birth and develop the athletes from the grass roots China is 20 years ahead or more, which is not that important, but hosting makes a difference to the tourism economy, in addition to the countries image The important thing after the Olympic games in Paris is practice hot yoga at 32 deg C in your city like Mumbai or Kolkota and cooling down after training by sitting on a ice bucket, instead of just going to the gym which is not that effective for professional athletes because diet or coaching is not enough

Another advantage of Germany is that its time zone is same as that of Paris. Players won't suffer jet lag.
@ConnectingBordersАй бұрын
Thanks for your comment. Though jet lag is a temporary thing and normally does not take more than a day to recover. What we found by visiting Saarbrücken, are the facility and atmosphere.

An excellent presentation on Indian efforts for Paris Olympics . German sports facilities would prove very useful. Ashraf as usual brings out important issues. The powers be who have accredited un authorised persons to Paris is a serious point of concern. As usual well researched presentation. Thank you .

Yrs, it's easier for millionaires, talking here about Indians, which have a net worth of 10 crores + who invest in the host countries. But for other ways, commonly going abroad to study and then apply for PR/ GC through employment based visas , trust me, this path is becoming extremely difficult even for talented students from ranked universities; since last few years; can speak on this , since I have studied in the US, albeit, fifteen years ago and experienced first hand all the hassles. Not all international students get jobs in the host country.Speaking about professional degrees like law, medicine or dental, accounting, I Dian degrees are not valid and one needs to technically start their education from basic , provided one gets admits to these are very competitive. 10:11

Thank you very much Mulay for your comment. You are right, Indian students face more hurdles if they go abroad with professional degrees other than engineering. It would be great to have more inputs from you, like what did you study and where? What was your experience. That could be very helpful for other viewers. Consider making another comment.

@@ConnectingBorders I attended graduate degree program - MS in Information Systems from Central Michigan University, Mt.Pleasant, Michigan, USA from fall 2006 to fall 2008, fifteen years ago. Had a wonderful journey, always wanted to study abroad, especially, the US. The American education system is designed in such a way that it combines academics with other part time work opportunities where one is exposed to working and getting paid simultaneously. For the Masters, and even for undergrad, the grading is not only confirmatory academic exam, in fact, exam part counts only 20 to 25% weightage, rest on individual assignments, group work, research papers. Also, international students hiding F1 student visa can avail of various assistanceships from departments which considerably reduces the financial burden. I had quarter graduate research assistanceshop in the second semester, and half GA from 3rd and 4th semesters. There are a plethora of issues to talk, the list will go on! Recently, I had given one interview for one channel, have a look at it:
