Can I ask what your red folding rifle rest is called and where I could purchase one?

I had a mercury s when I was 15, I had it fully refurbished by Hallrite of Chesterfield, they rebuilt the internals, restored the stock and did a beautiful blueing job. I was surprised how well it shot and the power output was impressive for a junior sized rifle. I'd say the overall build quality was better than the bsa lightning grt I recently got rid of. Since the restoration I had it two weeks and let a friend of mine shoot it and he accidentally pulled the trigger with it cocked and it bent the barrel and split the stock so I had to let it go.

Could you measure the width between the legs at 90⁰ in the non-extended position for me as there is a max width rule of 14" or 360mm in the discipline I intended shooting. Would really appreciate it if you can.

I was wondering if you have a Brocock Independent, i bought a lux model from JS Ramsbottom just before the mail order ban came into effect. It sat in it's box for years unused until I zeroed a scope on it for a friend at work just before I moved to California. It felt like a nice springer.

I have a 2002 HW90 in .177 its in absolute mint condition, its had new ram seals, new upgraded high pressure valve and a imported upgraded Aussie green piston seal I'm thinking of selling it to fund a TX200HC as I also have another HW90, I'm in North Wales.

Great Video Paul , I don't think your Airsporter is cocking correctly in my opinion , it just doesn't sound right , l have had plenty of Airsporters and none have had that sound that yours has at the end of the stroke .

I've just restored my 1st gen. 1997 Axsor, fitted regulator & front manometer, re-crowned the barrel, new magazine with brass interference fit centre. Absolutely nails it with H&N FTT, AA FTT 5.52's & H&N Sniper Lights. Not just 1 hole at 30m, all under 8mm!!

Just bought the IR version and too be honest really can't tell the difference compared to the more expensive vantage versions except it's 2 piece compared to single piece. For hobby use these really are decent bits of kit.

I've noticed scope offset due to rifles having different widths of dovetail rail, typical example being BSA rifles which should ideally be used with BSA specific 13mm mounts but often aren't. Budget mounts and budget rifles can be a bit variable but a small amount of offset from centre isn't generally going to matter, a problem for me was the screws on a cheap mount were stressed unevenly from fitting the mount to a wider dovetail and a screw broke off when I tightened it.

Does the mount you use come as standard? Ive been on the fence buying one of these for a few months

Level is important, but for sub 12 airguns wind is WAAAY more important. Invest more in knowing the wind more than anything like level. If you want to make mid to long range first shot impacts every time (best for hunting)

What is the rifle stand you are using?

Love the idea though at £200+ it is expensive. The vertical option seems to be through a scope mount so may not help if your scope is out of true.

Hello, I have hawke similar to this one. I have a problem with it as I couldn’t zero it. Tried to adjust the clicks but seems like pellets are going to the same place.

Apx10 yrs ago I bought a new 99s and 95kux and then a 98,in that order. Sold the 99squick for the 95. I had taken all rifles apart to deburr and re lube. Recently bought a 95k and took that apart also. I can honestly say the quality is nowhere near as good. The piston quality is awful, pitted and marked like pot metal

Hi bud I bought one of your mk2 of Ian and was wondering the plate on the case has 4 false screws holding plack on box one is missing was on box in video in shop but seems to have been nocked off not over bothered but if possible would like to replace it where can I get one from? Have not spoken to Ian may be on shop floor or in back of my Landrover many thanks john

It's an incredible work of art and an instant heirloom. I've put over 150 pellets through mine and the barrel is still clean and slick. I love it. I rubbed down my stock with a mixture of linseed and beeswax. I applied it with 0000 steel wool; it looks incredible. The stocks are made in Italy. Cheers mate!🇺🇲

Love my hw80. Bought it in the late 80s and still performing as new. With the lux im not 100% sure about the forend and stock cutout, but nice check work though

You'll get about 5 years of very regular use out of these before soles start to wear smooth and rear ankle support starts splitting.

I purchase the t-eagle sr 3-12x32 ffp. The strange thing is that when you put the shade hood on the front of the scope you cannot adjust the scope you have to loosen the shade make your adjustments and then tighten the shade. Is this defective or just the way it's designed? Give it a try if you want and see what the results you get.

Well Paul, I have managed to find a Sterling HR81 in .22 cal. I've had for a few weeks now and was shocked to discover it only produces just over 6 ft-lbs! I've replaced the bolt seal which seals perfectly (Partially draw back the piston, place pad of finger over the end of the barrel and ease the piston back under it's spring) but the mainspring has been replaced with a much shorter one than the original as it has virtually no preload. I hoping to achieve 10 ft-lbs. Whatever, this is a well made rifle with a depth of bluing seen only on the best English shotguns... Thanks again for another of your great reviews.
