I had a BSA Airsporter S MK2 in .22 1986 ish, stunning gun with a walnut stock if i remember correctly, it suffered terrible scope creep.

Yes the scope grooves were short and shallow

Enjoyed your video. I still have an Airsporter S that I had when I was 16. Won’t ever let it go. Unfortunately I took off (and lost) the iron sights to give it a cleaner look with my scope.

Have a mk4 airsporter and renovated a mercury for a friend. Would have loved to see you shoot them both at the same range with their best pellets.

Yes the design is super .i would get one again if.the wood was better and trigger and no plastic anywhere

Hi Paul, They both look quality pieces of kit and lovely to own. May I ask, please? In one of your recent videos, you reviewed your Weihrauch HW90K and said it was a favoured hunting rifle of yours. I know your BSA air rifles are older, but would you have as much faith in those BSA's for hunting as you do with your HW90K? Growing up, I'd have loved a BSA Mercury, though I didn't have hope. Thank you.

I am looking to buy a Mercury S and an Airsporter S, just to have them as when i was a teenager i lusted after them both and could never obtain them. :)
