This is Bowies best era without a doubt. He was doing what Dylan done in the mid '60s, just writing so many great tracks he was on a incredible roll. Giving songs to Mott the Hoople, producing for Lou Reed and The Stooges. Hunky Dory and Ziggy Stardust, 2 of the greatest albums of all time.

I bought this album back in 1993 on the strength of this song. But the whole CD was incredible. So many awesome songs. "Let's Begin Again", "God Knows", "I Don't Wanta See You Again" etc. Marty quickly became one of my favorite artists. Insanely underrated talent that was never embraced by Country Radio or quickly cast aside, just like so many of my other favorites.

so. back in the 80s me and my buddies would go to the used record shop and pick through the album we thought looked cool or had cool cover art for a buck or two take em home and see if they rocked, some did and some not so much , but this one we found and it changed us as kids we WANTED to be them because they looked better and rocked more than GnR or Ratt or Cinderella

Forgot how great this band sounded, saw them in Syracuse at The Lost Horizon back in mid 80s i believe, killer show. Another talent from Canada along with April Wine, Honeymoon Suite, just to name a few. Stand Up could almost be at home on a Billy Squire album. Guitars are so crunchy and crispy, love the production. Steve Shelski is a tasty mf guitarist. Cuts on here I've never heard, awesome! Oh yeah, back in the late 80s I told my hairdresser to make me look like Carl Dixon as best as possible, lol.he had the look. Didn't quite have that volume going on, but she did good, good while my hair hung in there! Lol. Not much left these days.
