Amazingly my parents played their records when I was a child (for that I’m forever in their debt). One day I was singing this song, not knowing what it meant. I was probably not even a preteen. My mom heard me singing, stopped what she was doing and told me never to sing this song around people. I didn’t know then but I know now

We lived in a typical 70s ranch when this song was released. 1000 SF, no privacy. I played this on my Panasonic super loud. My parents hate it!!!

My parents introduced me to Dr. Hook as a child 😂. I introduced him to my man .Blew his mind. He is 70. Is there a doctor in the village?
