@@1STEWY yeah man, looks like it was the right main gear door. Normally when this happens they would declare an emergency because a gear door out of sequence would normally cause the gear disagree warning in the cockpit

My apologies that shows the 3:36 flight, 3:40 flight and 4:00 pm. Flights all delayed until later this evening. The earliest being 6:00 p.m. in the latest being almost 10:00 p.m.

@@1STEWY I didn’t realize it was all flights. My sister was departing today & her flight that was scheduled to leave at 2:15pm didn’t leave until 3:30pm. She said there was a security breach & her plane was searched. Very interesting. Thankfully, she had a safe flight & landing. Looking forward to the video!

@@MichaelMartin-mi8in Thanks Michael, sorry for the late response, everything points me in the direction of aircraft N163us as tail number which came in from Philadelphia on July 2,2024 and departed Jamaica on July 9,2024 it was towed away from the gate and remained for awhile in the cargo area,bless up

@@Dvane816 When they divert to Kingston based upon weather conditions which can change quickly, passengers don't necessarily get off the airplane and are flown back to Montego Bay as soon as situations improve, have a great day now and thanks for watching

Hey Stewy, I have a question... What is the name/function of that round red & white station outside, next to the runway, with many small round objects that look like tiny radars?

@@hx3500 Blessings,it's called Doppler Very high frequency Omnidirectional Range or DVOR for short, it's a navigation aid used to provide directional guidance to the airplanes ,it works by transmitting a signal 360 degrees around the airport for about 230 miles, this signal can be picked up by a DVOR receiver onboard the aircraft , this allows the pilots to fly directly to the airport using the shortest route, kind of like a wheel with spokes,all the spokes lead to the hub at the center of the wheel only in this case the hub would be the airport, hope I made sense, have a wonderful Sunday and thanks for watching

Stewy! I'm sorry this is going to be a little long. 😊 There is something unique about this video. I want to express my sincerest gratitude for posting this video. The reason I say this is because I've been a passenger many times most passengers sit in the plane seat and complain why aren't they taking off? Because you use the audio between air traffic control and the pilots you can hear how complicated it is. What the air traffic control tower needs to do to make sure everything runs is short of amazing to me. If anybody gets frustrated by delayed takeoffs they need to watch this video.
