Nature Defies 💥rains stops Airplanes 💥 airplane spotting Montego Bay Jamaica pt 1

It's May 04,2024 A day when the spring rains makes the ability to fly impossible because of zero visibility and forcing airplanes to stay airborne in a holding pattern using up all available fuel they have until they have to be divirted to a nearby airport, it's a race between nature and human capabilities,there can be only one winner , either there's a break in the weather and you are able to land or you end up at another airport, this is one of those days,do watch it ended a way

Yes it takes away all the visibility making a visual approach impossible, they can't see a thing, have a blessed one now and thanks for watching

Another nice one Stewie. No expert but I get the impression the concern from both Tower and that last flight was more the winds than the rain though. These birds all have operational limits for wind components.

Thanks much, you are most definitely correct the winds were changing directions very quickly , when the first airplane on the video landed the wind was 060 degrees, when the aircraft executed missed approach wind was 200 degrees, that's now a tail wind, and the pilot said it won't be able to land with this wind, have a great day now and continue to watch these videos you'll be surprised how much of an expert you have become, thanks again

Doesn't MBJ have ILS approach? For those whom may not understand that's instrument landing system. Mbj is supposed to be the most sophisticated Airport in the Caribbean.....
