Man, I beat the mobile version of this game without ever knowing that in the final part when the Metroid queen tries to swallow you can enter her stomach and destroy her from the inside with the power bomb, I defeated her by unloading all my missiles that were left on her ...

I made it near the end. Just a few more hits would've done it. In my version the queen spits acid breath and is a bit harder. I died 4 times, so I think I give up now. Too difficult for me, and I'm only playing on normal. Also, I'm using a keyboard so might be a bit more difficult than a controller. Thanks for the video, but I think I give up now

You actually can just finish off Queen Metroid with missiles - 10 regulars or two Supers does the job once she goes to try and eat you. If you do it that way, she just screams and then poofs out of existence. It's kind of hilarious. I did it on v1.0, so I don't know if it changed in later versions.

I love how the Queen Metroid chases you in this version of the fight. After you've hunted down, killed off all her offspring, now *you* are the prey to be hunted down without mercy, as if she's exacting her revenge.

I can't beat that thing, playing on cellphone because that's all i have and it crushed me because i only had 52 health points remaining... i couldn't even react and morph ball 🗿 too much damage, too little health drops.

Recently played this myself, v1.5. Loved it for the most part and was looking forward to doing this. But it wouldn't work, I roll into a ball inside her jaws and get stuck, can't roll or lay a Power-Bomb. Tried it 5 times and still nothing, don't know whats gone wrong.

They should have made a king Metroid and made 5 queens that surrounded him. And you can only fight him in your ship, since he's so huge

Queen Metroid is like Queen Bee and Queen Ant. In both swarm of bees and colony of ants there's only one queen, no king. There are drones though, but there're created only for breeding. I dunno how metroids are reproducing, but their hierarchy is inspired by both bees and ants, who like them are protecting their queen and nest.

Official remake is superior in every way except for the art style. But more metroid is a good thing so both are worth playing.

@@nataliepatalie3834 how so? AM2R is unbalanced and has incoherent enemy AI as well as terrible animation for the original enemies the creator designed. The artwork is beautiful and the soundtrack is great but it's nowhere near as atmospheric as Metroid Samus Returns given its lack of continuity in both instrumentation and thematic style. Given that AM2R was made almost entirely by 1 person is astounding, but it doesn't excuse the fact that the game is inferior to the official remake.

The thing I hate about this whole thing is that it shows you the egg before the battle like its an objective to get it like what?? The egg was a surprise, Samus knew nothing about it... another thing is the queen battle, its way too easy because you can hit anywhere on her head and it does damage when her weakness is the belly just like every other metroid.

97 noface it's for the player and not Samus to know, it wouldn't be the first time something like that was done. And second in the original Metroid 2 the whole belly weakness didn't exist gameplay wise so it doesn't matter much. Besides that weakness is exploited via power bomb anyways.
