Hello, Ashish. If grown from small, they will need to be repotted every 3 months if grown in a pot like mine, and after a few repotting sessions, will they achieve 9-11ft. If they are grown in a pond, they would achieve their full height in a matter of months. Provided there are enough nutrients in the soil. They are extremely fast growing plants.

Currently, I am designing these items for sale, thus limiting the techniques I am able to share. However, I plan to create a tutorial once I am ready. In the meantime, you may use fishing line or wire to attach the bromeliads to the post/branch and the roots will gradually attach themselves.

Hey there! So far, I’ve kept them growing in a pot (with regular fertilising), but have seen them grow quite big when placed in the ground (saw it on someone’s post before). I have not seen them grow as large as those green ones though. Perhaps they are able to but would need to be grown in a HUGE pot with regular fertilising OR in the ground with fertile soil. Also part shade would help them “stretch” a little more. Hope this helps.

Yes, mine are variegated from young. Some do have a tendency to revert but I think to encourage more variegation, a lot of it is to do with receiving enough natural light (direct and indirect) throughout the day especially when they are pups or just beginning to shoot out from the mother plant. That’s just what I’ve experienced, could also be an array of factors.
