This game is a masterpiece, save from the insane amount of historical incoherence about the Soviets, describe in the game more like a Nazism variant. As a working class revolution to end the exploration done by the rich and to take control of the country, the Red Army would never employ use of slave labor like the game described. It is one of the main principles of Communism: No man shall be explored by other man. If the devs need to make communist the villains no matter what, they could look into the excess of persecution against people who were against the revolution. That would be more historical accurate.

I remember my dad got DMC1 and it was so fucking badass, I bought DMC2 expecting that it was going to be the next big thing but I was dissapointed with the story and atmosphere, good game but it felt short compared to the other ones

Oh man, i watched the Tomb Raider ones and found this one. Dude the grind is hard and sucks and lovingly created art has to be supported somehow. I think we lack one more ending: refusing assimilation and simply moving on. We don't know what the Star is seeking from the planet, what makes it potentially suited for assimilation. However I suspect that "it dies when we touch it" is quite a problematic trait. Of course that's assuming that Rider and co. do not have such impact on other worlds.
