That’s a crappy deal. It’s going to wear. Basically if can am would have looked at the automotive industry they would see that most truck manufacturers use a Teflon like material on the splines and often a grease fitting on the slip yoke as well to prevent wear and possibly a rattle.

I have the same issue. 2019 xrc as well haha. I was going to replace the entire drive shaft because I figured they were just wore but I never heard of that set screw solution before May try that and put a grease zero on like you did before I spend 400 bucks.

i went back to a factory carrier bringing recently after replacing my small shaft. it has minimal play still but you can only hear it at like 60 so im not mad about it haha. i think the easiest solution to this problem is to just replace the small shaft and the bearing and if you still have significant rattle your diff bearing is probably bad. @@4x4Play

@@4x4Play I have a evga x58 FTW3, 6-core w3690, and a 6800 XT, it runs witcher 3 at 4k Ultra 60 to 80 FPS. GPU at 97% utilization... But I notice that every little bit I squeeze out of the CPU I get 1 or 2 more frames. So maybe it is worth it for me ... I am thinking... But my motherboard has a huge northbridge heat sink right next to the CPU fan, and I don't think there is even any room for a little fan there. It's really fun to push these old motherboard/cpus to the limit, and so satisfying, but I may just go back to using it for GPU mining
