anyone talking about changing the order of the letters in the formula is wrong, the order doesn't matter what does matter is the positioning. if your angle is represented by A, then the side represented by a has to be opposite that angle, otherwise it won't work. it doesn't matter what the sides or angles are called, just make sure the side opposite the angle you are trying to find is the one being subtracted in the cosA = b^2+c^2-a^2/2bc formula.

shouldn't the answer to (iii) be 0.7 since it specified students doing either Subject A *or* Subject B and excluded students who did both?
