Hello sir I have a question. Wht can't u just arrange the n.os from smallest to largest to find out the median plzz clarify.

I think it's because it's a frequency table, that only applies when you have an assortement. He had to find out the number of terms first hence why he added all the numbers under frequency and then he found the median OF THAT. It didnt matter which order he added them in because it would give 82 anyway. hope this helps.

A bit confused on the median part, where are you getting 41st and 42nd?

I think he got it because the middle number from 82 terms would be 41.5 so it's the avg of thee 41st and 42nd terms

@@tara639 pick a smaller even number e.g. 6. The median is not 3, it's 3 + 4 divided by 2. Same goes with 82
