Nice review. Just got one. Agree with you: dislike the bracelet, also consumer be warned - it is too large for a small (6 inch and below probably) wrist, so you'll need a new bracelet/strap.

PVD ist not a scratch Magnet exclamation mark in fact, it's the opposite, since black PVD is made from Titanium Aluminium Nitrite, and has a hardness of >3000 Vickers. For comparison: Sapphire crystal is 2000 Vickers hard, Steel 200 to 600 (hardened Steel). You can even test it yourself: Try to scratch it with a knife. It's impossible!

Gotten to the point where I prefer steinhart over the microbrand in its price category. Design unoriginal but apart from that you’re getting a solid well built watch.

I don't think it is fair to call this model, the Ocean One GMT Titan premium Ceramic, a Rolex homage. It's hands, dial and date placement have nothing to do with it's Rolex counterpart.

One improvement they could make is a sliding micro adjust on the bracelet.

Lug width ?

I got this a month ago. Been tracking it against the atomic clock and I am losing 10 seconds a month. Better quality control than my last 3 Seiko's.

It's shady to me how they advertise these models to have a SW200 movement but yet, the dial does not have the Swiss made logo.

Thats sad. I got one like 15 years ago and thing was a beast had some many complications on it - and great quality. Lume was 10/10. . Paid 1k for it used with papers ect. Had a valjoux 7750 movement.

Love them, but it should have the Miyota 9000 series in it. I'd still look into the Eterna Kon-Tiki's.

how is this rig holding up 6 years later? I'm specifically concerned about the AIO liquid cooling's pump and tubing life span, I'm going to be ordering a similar pc from digital storm, but I'm concerned on the quality and the life span that goes into Digital storm's AIO liquid coolers. if 6 years later after you posted this its still holding up that would be enough for me to invest in liquid cooling. thanks so much for any information regarding this.

Tag does make 'good looking watches'. Have to admit. but their rep a you know in the watch community is iffy (usually among 'watch nerdss').... Also, omeone on YT made a video about this watch...took it to a watch shop and had the case opened up...saw a pldtic piece and wanèt happy to find it in a near $30000 USD watch. Maybe he shouldnèt have looked inside. :)) I mean REALLY ièm not sure if all watches priced $r30000 and below have a platic piece isnide...or if itès just the AquaRacerÉ Might be a deal breaker for some. But then the question becomes---Do you have to spend more than $30000 to get a 'high quality' watch with no plastic parts in the movementÉÉ Or insideÉÉ '...curiosity killed the catÈ....heh...i mean even with the platic part ...itès not going to affect the operation. Just might leave a bad taste in the mouth of the buyer...Psychological thing...if you didnt know it wouldnèt bother you...heh....most companies wil do soemthing for 'cost cutting--more profit'...

I’m wearing this one on right arm, right now. And on left arm, the Addies NH35A, that one is even better! Both new purchases, under 100 Dollarz each. I’m giving my Zelos Hammerhead Bronze some rest time. And The Seiko Diver too. In the future, I’ll get an Zodiac. But I guess I’ll buy a Tactical Frog before that, haha! Or a Tactical Addie!

I have owned the Ocean 39 GMT in stainless steel for some years, it's possibly the best-looking watch out there, and it's an amazing timekeeper.

I have this and it’s really a great watch - looks great, usually on time and bracelet wears very nice. Only negative is it’s kinda large on my smaller wrist .

I ordered an Ocean Rover II from John at Ginault, $1799.00 USA blue bezel, date with Cyclops, or I could get a rolex for $11,000.00 USD. I bought a Silent service used with the 12 hour bezel ,I will use the bezel to track another time zone, it will be my poor man's GMT. I am wearing a Longines spirit 42mm blue dial, great watch with great Lume, my Omega will be going up for sale.

Got this watch less than a year ago, mecanism broke 2 times, not cheap repairs, the strap breaks easily as well, clearly you are paying way to much for a bottom quality automatic watch, customer service is completely unresponsive, even though mine is under warranty, there is no one to talk about the problems with it.

Most frustrating company I've ever dealt with. They will not respond to emails quickly. I ordered my watch over 4 months ago and waited patiently, without emailing them all the time. The watch is finally ready, but for some reason, I can't get them to approve my payment. Every email I send to them, I don't hear back for 72 hours. Good luck trying to get anything done when a problem arises. The guy I email is supposedly John and he has no interest in getting a watch out to you if you should ever encounter a problem. Good luck if you need warrantee service. I'm still waiting for the watch. I really like the watch, but buyer beware, there is no phone number, no address provided, and no last names for John. You need to work at his pace. "A" rating for the watch , "F" rating for response time, customer support, and shady operation in that there is no phone number or address and only one person seemingly doing everything and if John runs into a problem, he moves on to the next customer and disregards how long you waited for the watch. He will not attend to a problem, even if the problem is not your fault. Again, how can anyone consider the watch without considering the company behind the watch? Not a real business in that they do not operate as a conventional business. This is an "interesting" company, let's leave it at that.

Revue Thommen at the time used to produce very good timepieces, they have used very good movements, some history with flight equipment vice versa but i'd say they can compete with Glycine, Steinhart ecc... given the quality. Here we have one distributor of this brand, and i recently purchased a Nostalgia version with eta 2895-2 movement, a vintage inspired watch with 1940s vibe, simple and good looking. As for few chronographs they have used top grade eta 7750, need to see them.
