What rod and reel you using
@malonesoutdoors72058 ай бұрын
It’s a BG reel 20$ Walmart. I just broke it not too long ago. It’s fine if you fish every now and then but I would invest in an other reel if your going to plan on fishing often. I am surprised it lasted this long. I used this reel when I went away on trips. With an ugly stik, never had a problems with ugly stiks.

Any tips as a beginner fly fisherman trying this river out?
@malonesoutdoors72059 ай бұрын
Being patient and consistent. Nymph are great to start with, look for moving water and let it drift as natural as possible. Trouts are great hunters and very picky, but always watching from wherever they are hiding. Good luck out there! 🤙
