So many videos (and comments) on this subject! I'm comforted to know I'm far from the only one unable to puzzle this out ("Huh, why the heck does the string pull in _that_ direction?").

i used phano china marker for around 4 years and i thought it was one of the best for mapping,but last month i found out 'Gm permanent makeup pencil"(Thailand brand)which is so so much pigmented than Phano china marker though the graphite is still hard as that china marker. Btw Gm brand has so much better pmu pigments and numbing and secondary numb which are far more better than any other products made in another country...

that's great! will you send me the link? ive always like the Dixon china marker but after covid I felt like it changed a little so I started looking for a diff brand. I found a great brand too but it's only sold in Russia so it's too expensive to tell people to buy. although I bought them and I love them! it broke down to $12 a pencil though...lol

What is your fav needle for liner & shading ( all in one ?) Or should I use one to outline ( which one ?) & what needle to use for shading ? Is there any you suggest for beginners? So much appreciated all the videos you do ! ❤ Grateful ❤
@bossbrowsla
@bossbrowsla 27 күн бұрын
That’s a really good question. The answer is -it depends. It is recommended to be able to do an entire brow with a 1RL needle. But that doesn’t mean you have to- just that you should be able to before graduating to different needles. Personally, I find that I use a 1RL for the outline and first pass and then switch the a 3RL for the rest.

I don't like the ring light or the half moon one. I use a double headed glamcor. they are expensive but you can find a knock off brand that is much cheaper and they work great!

Hi! Is there a reason you use the 1RL for just the outline & not use 3R for shading ? Thanks ❤️
@bossbrowsla

You can use other needles for shading however, it's important that an artist can master an ombre brow using a 1RL needle first which is why we were showing that in this step by step video.

Yes! body position is important. You always want to practice how you plan on working on the client. I do the right side upside down and the left side across the body (which means im facing them) so that's the way I practice.

@bossbrowsla the videos seem to be for people who already have an understanding of what these tools are used for, and are doing. and the end result. personally, I'd love to watch more videos on these techniques but I don't even understand what you're doing. I'd reccomend making the videos beginner friendly to build a bigger audience . Could take off as oddly satisfying or just with some different editing. It's a great idea for content. You're really onto something
