HOW TO DO OMBRE BROWS (on Synthetic Skin)

Learn how to do an ombre brow step by step on synthetic skin. For this exercise you will need a synthetic skin, PMU machine, pigment, .30mm 1RL and baby wipes (soaked in green soap). Practice all of the different techniques used to achieve a soft powder brow.

May I ask what speeds you were using? I have a difficult time finding the right speed, but I just learned after watching your video I am only using 6 for everything, which is giving me a lot of pigment and saturation.

That’s such a good question and not a simple answer. I can tell you that you want a faster speed when using a whip motion and much slower speed when doing a zig zag or reciprocal movement. However everyone’s PMU machines are different and everyone has different hand speeds. So basically you want to match the hand speed to your machine speed. Hi! Is there a reason you use the 1RL for just the outline & not use 3R for shading ? Thanks ❤️

You can use other needles for shading however, it's important that an artist can master an ombre brow using a 1RL needle first which is why we were showing that in this step by step video.
