Fascinating. I had weber on Astron 2 in 76 Galant wagon. Went like crazy- but lift off oversteer due to extra weight. Kept me alert!

Springs on ebay. The reset was done by All Springs at Moorebank.

@ I think we went 30mm reset on the front and 40mm on the rear. We measured before they reset them but they reset to any height the spring can take.

Best youtube videos! Keep your head up! Btw i had a bolt break in the flywheel too last time making a clutch job.😅 It may screw out pretty easy if you can turn it with something. I used a drill and a scredriver that i jammed into the hole.

My 95 7K engine used solid lifters and had valve clearance adjustment on the rocker arms. But in late 96 they updated it with hydraulic lifters, so it no longer requires manual valve clearance adjustment.

Timing is set at stock. Probably could advance a degree or 2.

No biggie bro, smooth your welds out with an air file with a really fine belt on it then hand sand finish and polish if you want. Would look as good as a bought one.

Was your battery just low? Sounds like it was cranking really slowly. What size starter and charging cable did you run?

Definitely battery. I drained the optoma pretty badly. When it’s fully charged, cranks fine

Hey mate, that oil pressure drop as the oil warms up is perfectly normal so don't worry about that. Idle can be as low as 20psi. As long as it comes up when you rev it that's fine 🙂 glad to see the build coming along 👌

You can really dial in the front shocks on a sigma by just replacing the oil use 30 engine oil as a start point. No need for new insert

Absolutely gorgeous man. Can't wait for that boosted rolla to run and have you explain how you setup boosted system for that engine. I have an ae80 with a 3e carburettor engine and wondering how to put a turbo on it. I have a little engineering knowledge and in 3 years I'll complete my bachelors in mechanical automotive.

@@vinnierolla stock power valve is perfect mate. Just make sure after you block off the original vacume from the carb base thats leading to the power valve . Then you can drill a hole into the carb where the air passage is for the power valve and ref it from there. Your vacume line for the dump valve should be connected on the carb manifold or carb baseplate.
