What is the thread size going into the pump for jack?

Thanks. Our brush would kind of stop turning. You'd have to stop the vacuum and then it would start up again. I found a ton of hair wound up behind that three lobe piece that turns the brush. Hopefully that'll fix it.

This thing is cool how it shoots out a stream of cool air you can see. But the advertising is misleading. It cannot cool off 500 square feet. It can cool off about 6 square feet. It will work for you right next to your computer but if you have somebody sitting in a chair about 3 feet away, they do not feel it. The light on the bottom of it was cool how it changed from one color to another but it only worked for 1 day. If you charge this thing, it lasts for about an hour. So you may as well just keep it continuously charging. It seems like it took about $5.00 to make this thing and it cost me over $100. It's a ripoff.

This was a great video. I too had the same issue where the roller not spinning. I did a lot of troubleshooting, initially thinking power was not getting to the motor. Eventually discovered that power was being delivered but while the motor was spinning, the roller was NOT. I refer to this video at approx. at 5.33 minute mark when the white plastic gear attached to the motor is visible. Long story short, what I found was that when the motor gear was under load, the motor shaft was spinning (within the gear). In other words, it was not a tight fit between the motor shaft and the gear. The fix was simple... I slipped the gear off the shaft and spun it around. Doing so, the shaft locked securely onto the gear and the problem was resolved (I could have put a drop of glue but didnt on this occasion). This likely happened after hair had got trapped behind the roller spindle which caused it to jam up. In turn, while the spindle was jammed, the motor kept spinning and just tore off the plastic gear - the motor shaft has a fine burring that helps secures it to the plastic gear. So, the motto of the story is, check the motor gear is securely fitted to the motor shaft.

I wonder why the vent is even needed for the cylinder. My old Direct Lift, which is identical, ever had that. Wouldn’t the fluid naturally push back into the reservoir as the lift lowers? That’s the only part I don’t like about this lift. Might I ask what you paid for the lift and jacks?
@toddstube5788 ай бұрын
I think it just helps keep air out of the oil/gives it an easier path to escape so there don't have to worry about running out of stroke on the cylinder before the lift is all the way up. Might just be overkill or for when first filling could help.

I have same model, but Revolution (rotary) RFP9. No vent hose but the cap on the pump is a vented cap. This one seems like it is not vented but has the hose.

2:59 I couldn't get that out with your method, so I screwed a large screw into the centre hole just enough so it got a grip on the plastic, and that gave me something to grip with the pliers and it came out easy.

Obsessed garage identified that they use a 5.0 orifice nozzle tip that may help you somewhat on your flow but looks like you’re doing OK at 2 gpm. I think I missed the orifice size you’re using in the video. Thank you for taking the time to make the video. Very helpful and thorough.
@toddstube578 Жыл бұрын
Thanks. I am using the Active white one but bought a variety of orifices to try. My pressure is also a little on the low side (but it still jerks the handle every time you squeeze it LOL) so will probably stick with what I tested. its a lot of water that comes out already even under the 2 GPM.

@@toddstube578 its the hose. I had the 50' flexzilla and the unit would run after some time as the hose expanded and pressurized. I just replaced it with a single wire hose from obsessed garage and it works flawlessly. The unit turns off instantly.
@andrewzazaian4688 Жыл бұрын
I'm curious is your 125ft hose steel braided or is it flexzilla because I had the exact same problem with the flexzilla not turning the machine off for half a min or so and once I replaced it with a steel braided the machine shut off instantly every time
@toddstube578 Жыл бұрын
interesting you mention this as the expansion of the hose under pressure was one of my thoughts. Mine is all Flexzilla. I did initially try a knock off of the Flexzilla that seemed to be much more rigid hose and it was actually the worse. Now that I have used mine for a while it rarely does not shutoff after 5 or so seconds so maybe something is "breaking in" too.
@andrewzazaian4688 Жыл бұрын
Yeah maybe the pressure valve is adjusting to it but ever since I switched over to the Cobra Jet hose mine is turned off without fail immediately as I was able to actually talk to the owner of active and he said the pressure valve is very sensitive if it is not single steel braided hose and did not recommended double braided because it's way too stiff

What router do you use in the shop? I have a tp link router I'm trying to connect my 510 to via cat5 cable. Not sure how to configure the router for this though.
@toddstube578 Жыл бұрын
I am using a TP-Link AC1900 in the garage so that I have wireless signal throughout the inside of the garage. Basically any router of your choice should work behind CPE510 receiver/client antenna as beyond it is just like a standard wired internet plug in connection. In other words, I just ran CAT wire from the CPE510 through a small hole in metal siding on the garage to my AC1900 that is mounted at the centered on interior the back wall and also high up so that it can provide good signal over my RV etc. to the other side of the interior.

I used this method and it worked great! Only difference was I left it in a roll and feed it into the pipe as I unrolled it. I used the 1 inch hot water pipe PVC for 3/4 inch airline. I used a coupler on one end and a step drill bit to chamfer the pipe to help the airline feed into the pipe. I placed the pipe in my vice.

@petergibbs80863 жыл бұрын
The black wire goes on the terminal nearest to the casing when motor installed, not being sarcastic but I always take photos before I strip anything down. I have a problem with my DC35 which is the motor wires go through the knuckle joint which can swivel more than 360 degrees so the cable must go through some kind of slip ring arrangement but I haven't found any videos on stripping the knuckle joint, a squirt of WD40 worked for a short while but then same again.
