(I don’t mark the start of the offices - because I just know that page number: 38 and 138 respectively - the first morning canticle in MP - the prayer for the day of the week MP - the psalms for the day for midday prayer - the Magnificat - the prayer for the day of the week EP - the psalms appointed - in the hymnal - the collect of the week - the common collects section - the Bible readings - the examen at the back (if you don’t need a ribbon for midday)

If you print it 32 pages at a time (1-32, 33-64, etc) and print as “bulletin” - that does the trick

Yes, Father - indeed thought was given to this functional/material matter. It’s not that the middle lasts longer, than say, page 100. It’s rather that the first signature (16-32 pages) receives extra wear and tear because it is attached to the end leaf and so it gets tugged on every time the book is opened. There are 65 pages of front matter prior to Morning Prayer - and so I considered this sufficiently interior to not receive extra wear and tear. And the binding was designed to lay flat on all the pages, which indeed it does. Ample gutter margin also means that content isn’t lost in the deep bend on the interior of every page. It also seemed less than desirable to me to have the Bible readings at the beginning, as an “office sandwich” - from a flow point of view. I am confident that by the time the book would wear out on the pages that contain the office - the content will have been 100% memorized by the user at that point :)

That *kinda* already exists: The "St. Dunstan Psalter" Subsequently there are no plans for a TLE breviary. But the Trad. Language primary canticles are included in the St. Bernard Breviary

Yes - I am happy to report that this has been corrected in the second printing. The printers graciously agreed to run the machines slower - which reduces paper slippage between the red and black plates. (You diagnosed it correctly) - and this has been totally effective - and the red and black are now nearly perfectly aligned in every case (it was the first thing I checked upon getting the second printing) Sorry for this gaffe in the first printing.

Yup! The base-text is identical - the St. Bernard breviary just has it all set to music. Also - the breviary is JUST the daily office material, whereas the BCP has Eucharist, baptism, ordination, burial liturgies etc

Yes it’s being worked on. Working title “sanctifying time” and it will be somewhat similar to “lesser feasts and fasts” in format. Expected publication date not till 2027

Can I ask what production details you have in mind specifically, that LEGO does that KoreaPrinting does not? Because they have met production standards very comparably (and I have done surgery on both LEGO and KoreaPrinting books to find out!)

Also, part of the decision was cost. If we produced this with LEGO, we would be forced to sell for over $175 to recoup the costs… Using our Korean printing partners meant we could keep cost accessible.

As a Korean Anglican I’ll just say I like that it’s printed by Koreans :)
