YES!!! That is weird but really cool. This is without doubt Lego - there's a minifig inside! And, for sure, worth to be part of any Lego Indiana Jones collection 🚀 I knew there were two Indiana Jones figures in these trophy bricks, one for each game - but I didn't know about this one and the sceleton.

I would have to say that is a big addition to the Indiana Jones collection. I definitely consider that Lego. That should be "rare" and "valuable ".😊❤

I have seen those before, but not very often. Very cool find. Yeah knowing the story would be cool.

That definitely seems rare! I know LEGO does employee Christmas gift sets each year, so it makes sense that they'd have something for video game creators! And if the San Diego Comic-Con didn't already announce it, I'd say you're definitely all in on the LEGO Indiana Jones collecting!

Bet kids made the best if it. But prob a lot of disappointed parents. We paid how much to stand in line so Jimmy can build from a pile of LEGO. Make that check out tomHigh Way Robbery

Diffently not a convention, more of an expo. Still can be fun.

I went to Brick Fest Live in St. Paul, MN in 2018. Looks like more of the same. Back then they had a small area for local builders & sellers. It looks to be less of that now. More about them making a quick buck off the success of way better LEGO Shows. Souring the taste & ruining it for the real conventions. Most celebrities never get paid the promised airfare, hotel, or wage. I say - tell parents to go see a real convention with real artists.

Nice recap! We’ve heard some of the same mixed reviews you mentioned at the beginning, and seeing it here definitely cleared it up. It certainly looks fun for families with younger kids that you want to keep entertained all day to get your money’s worth. Probably not worth it for those of us used to more AFOL focused expos

That was definitely the most difficult part of the build for me. If I remember correctly, I had to disassemble and fix something I hadn’t put together correctly at first.

Thanks for helping solve the mystery of Brick Fest Live. I wondered what it was because I've seen the ads for it here around Memorial Day weekend the last 2 years, but we haven't gone. Looks like something Emily would love. But we have Brickworld Indy in March (and enough LEGO in our house) so we'll probably pass on Brick Fest Live.

Did you buy the Oswalds? Or will you regret it later that you let them slip out of your hand? I would have bought them just because of the find this far along in the army.
@jasonsbricksin5Күн бұрын
I ended up buying one. It just seemed so silly to pay so much when I can get them for less than half that price on bricklink.

Looks like a cool convention for kids. Needs more Oswald, but otherwise, it would be fun for the kids.

Lego keychains are definitively collectible. I know a few people who do this as their passion. What I don’t know is if there are some that are rare, limited time or exclusive. - could be interesting to find out.

Another great show, with lots of nostalgia 😊 I think Star Trek would probably be snapped up by MegaBloks or Constructs or whatever there called now, like they did with Pokemon, Halo and Masters of the Universe Unfortunately 😕

yo Jason, just wondering your thoughts - because I haven't seen anybody talk about this. That recent Star Wars battle back, with the Rebel Troopers and Stormtroopers and pink R2D2. It is only available directly from Lego, it is not available from any retailers. I think that is really odd - because I would think they'd want to sell as many battle packs as possible. Just wondering your thoughts

I never had any issues in my ebay buying history of multiple successful bid auctions from same seller which i have done a few times. So I would put this on the seller. Also, fortunately with ebay is that partial refunds can be assessed to cover the overcharge. Some other sites do not offer that feature much to my chagrin with a prior purchase. So see what you can do to try and get some resolution.
@BrickTrains4 күн бұрын
I would say the seller just did not know how to combine the shipping. I have had that happen before where the auction where setup to auto combine from the same seller. They did, the price and the shipping where combined. The one I hate the most is when they have multiples of the same item and you can buy more then 1 and you get charged shipping for each item. Ugh....

I haven't joined the BAN or the PAN or any other AN but I've had a few offers. At the end of the day I have plenty of projects to keep me busy without feeling obligated to do set reviews. I did think it was cool that Ross agreed to the interview. That video was awful as far as views go, hasn't even hit 1000 yet but it was something I hadn't seen before. I guess that's kind of my goal, to do my own thing without cluttering up the platform with the same videos everyone else has already done

I sell on eBay all the time. If buyers purchase mulitiple items, I just refund them for the postage overpayment afterwards. It's so simple. Your seller should and could have done this quite easily, and you should have queried and requested the refund after buying both separately too.

Despite my attitude about LEGO, I was thinking about airplanes when I purchased the [Pearl in Peru] set back in the day. I can't find that set in my hoard currently but I did part it together from used LEGO lots (mostly 5 lb) and I will say, it was one of the most fun LEGO sets I think I will ever part together.😂😂 I'm surprised that sometimes I can find those airplane parts with decals attached halfway decently at times in used LEGO lots. I'm not trying to take a dump on anybody in the comments here, but I think $16 might be cheap(?) sometimes depends upon the state location of the shipper? I paid $14.95 for some used train magazines and had to pay $20 for shipping.....

Nice sets indeed - but that seller...! Puh... That's as expensive as shipping a T-Shirt to Europe! (Thank you VEEEERY much, by the way...) Still, the two sets are cool. 😎

He doesn’t know what he’s doing. He screwed you. When you combine as a seller you have to dust invoice with shipping discount manually m. It’s up to seller. Not eBay. He’s either an idiot or screwed you. No grey area

Last month ebay seller tells me its cheap because the box has wear, I said okay and paid him. 2 weeks later he emails, "the box has no wear, please get back to me". I email back "great news, please send item I paid for as I expected delivery last week". Then he says, "I sold it cheap because I thought the box had a lot of wear but turns out it is perfect, would you buy something else as well or cancel the order". Ended up buying 2 speed champions I did not want because I wanted the red passenger train and I knew he was never going to send it. Private sellers are a nightmare. Bricklink can be just as bad with their crazy postage rates and import taxes and local taxes making you have no idea how much something will end up costing you and how many months it will take to arrive. Just buy everything from Costco and you wont go far wrong.

This is why “free shipping” is better. It makes checkout easier if the seller puts the cost of shipping into the price - of course he’ll pay more if they are further away. Also probably should disclose the price on the label if you’re going to fleece the buyer

I sure as heck do consider Market St a modular. Especially since I just went out of my way to buy it to complete my collection of Modular Builds. Ain’t nobody telling me different. Also, BrickLink marks it as “Advanced Model > Modular Buildings Collection”.
