I just got the baofeng ar-5rm and when I go into chirp, select a certain channel where I don't want it to transmit. Select off on the duplex and upload back to the radio it still seems to work. Any ideas what I have may be doing wrong?

Thanks. Got part on amz, as too old for big box stores. Unfortunately, we must have not pulled the old part out gently enough and one of the little nubs broke off in the hole and we had to use a drill ti get the plastic out of the hole. Be gentle and do not over tighten, like he says. New part went in pretty easy and, so far, no more dripping from that handle. Thank goodness for you people that make these videos and amazon.

We just did this and it worked so great! Thanks! I know it’s from 7 years ago but we used this. It was the little button that was stuck that was causing the low flow of the faucet!

¿Kindly, does the nail punch remove a bit of leather? ¿If not, do you think/know if the hole will close back up? Thank you. I've lost weight and want to keep this (leather) belt, but need an extra hole to keep my pants from moving down when I walk for health). Thank you very for making and posting this video. Any comments most welcomed. Thank you again. t\.
@willworkforlibertyАй бұрын
This should remove the leather and make a clean hole. The nail punch has a flat surface with sharp edges. Other approaches of poking a sharp pointed tool through the belt just makes a tear that closes up and doesn't remove material. This approach is more like using a paper hole punch, except with leather.
@tonyd1149Ай бұрын
@@willworkforliberty Dear sir, thank you for the kindness of a reply. Thank you for explaining to me (& others) that the nail punch's flat surface and sharp edges shears off a round hole piece (and thus acts as a punch) leaving a nice clean permanent hole in the leather. Thank you so much. God[Bible] Bless you.

I looked for videos to explain how to wire a DPDT relay, and looked at multiple ones, and yours was the best and helped to finally correctly wire a linear actuator for my project; thanks!

You could. The timer just turns on or off, which reverses the polarity.

Does the punch work without a pilot hole as shown in video?
@willworkforliberty3 ай бұрын
I DON'T do a pilot hole because I want a clean cut. It is as though the punch stamps out a little disc, like a paper hole punch would do.

Just passing by. You can also recover a rechargeable battery by using a 12 volt power supply or 6 volt battery charger. With caution!!! Hold the negative wire onto the negative side of the battery and tap fast the positive wire to the positive side of the battery. This can be done with non-rechargeable and rechargeable batteries. The caution is the batteries may get hot and or explode.

The amp rating is not "at least" it is "at most" if you pass more current through a device than it is rated for you could destroy it or even cause a fire.

A good tip is to not use channel locks or pliers to get that nut off, damage is inevitable if you do that. Use a strap wrench, it’s so quick and easy, and won’t damage anything!
