My only question is what if I’m holding a position an hour or less before the news event, and my sl or tp hit during the news while I didn’t open the position within the restricted time. Did I still violate the rules since I didn’t closed manually

This news rule makes no sense, to me it's a total trap. I hope that in the near future they remove this rule just like they did with the the Challenge time limit.

Also one more question regarding the maximum daily loss. If I have a £10k account and the daily loss is £500 and I risk 0.5% each trade I have to do 10 losing trades to fail it. Now let’s say I grow the £10k account to £20k and want to still risk my conservative 0.5% risk each trade that means now I will have to lose 5 trades in a row to blow the daily loss of £500 as previously it was £50 risk now it’s £100 because my account has grown. So my question is does this mean that it will get to a point where I can only take less than 2 trades even 1 a day because anymore will risk my daily limit being reached straight away, as my account grows. Or does the daily limit increase from £500 even if you account initial balance was 10k and has compounded ?

So is the trading objectives metrics including the (daily max loss and maximum total loss) the -£ figure based on the lowest number my equity account had went into drawdown from the initial balance. Let’s say i had a £10,000 account and it showed that my maximum daily and total loss is -£71 regardless if my £10k account is in profit weeks later and I had scaled up. The figures displayed within the trading objectives remain of -£71, is to show that my equity of my account from £10,000 initially went to its lowest level when I had actives positions open of = £9,929 (£10k - £71) before either closing or reversing away towards profit from that position of it being the lowest. So let’s say I opened a new trade after 24hr reset, my drawdown and equity went into now -£130, and that IT WOULDN’T further add to the trading objectives metric, combining my previous -£71 and now -£130 which would make -£201. Am I right to think instead the trading metric displayed, would be shown as -£130 instead of -£210 as -£130 was the new LOWEST point my equity had reached let’s say before going back up again. So (£10k - £130 = £9,870) And it will remain like that until it breaches more than a total of a 130 drawdown? Sorry long message, but really appreciate a response. 🙏

Bro, when you want to link your oanda account inside tradingview they will ask you to login to your oanda account, which means you have to go through the whole verification process, because demo account through oana are doing ne without actually creating an onda account, so it didn't work out for me, but great elaboration nonetheless
