Excellent lesson as always - thankyou! I spent ages trying to get Google translate to understand me saying jat1 baak3 man1 jat1 ding6 gau3. After many many failed attempts I realised you and Google both pronounce gau3 as gau6. So as soon as I tried with the lower tone, Google correctly recognised what I was saying. So I wonder if Jyutping is wrong designating gau as tone 3?

in cantonese when expressing future tense is there no future tense marker? like 会 or 要， for example in mandarin you can say 我明天买披萨 this would work but everyone i know and myself included would add 会/要，“我明天会买披萨” 或者 “我明天要买披萨” i feel like 我明天买披萨 sounds like some concrete fact and expresses no personal desire or intention of future events, but i know cantonese is different in many ways that continues to surprise me, just curious do most people omit these filler words?>

Your lessons are so useful - I watch them over and over whilst on the bike or rowing machine at the gym, then watch them at home & write up notes, then practice speaking your examples into Google Translate until it finally understands what I am saying (often takes many attempts) 😂 - then I save the sentences for future practice. But it all revolves around your amazing lessons.
