At first I was thinking "noooo you will get outmaneuvered or killed by a big group of players or get dominated by snipers or medic combos" but after seeing you deal with all of those problems without a medic pocketing you, I realized I could play heavy just as reliably as soldier or demo. Mabye you shouldn't play heavy braindead. Edit: my playstyle in any game with combat is usually akin to stealth/infiltration or guerilla warfare, and it might be a good strategy for this

The brass beast is essentially "Heavy, but more so", so a Gibus Heavy without any game sense is going to be trash with it (hence the gun's reputation), but in the hands of an experienced Heavy main it is just terrifying.

What I love about the brass beast is that in MvM, if you buy all 3 ticks of blast resistance and rev with the brass beast you can survive a sentry buster explosion. But you need all 3 ticks of blast res and you need to be practically full hp, so instead of running away sometimes you can just keep firing and survive.

I used to love the Brass Beast. I had a lot of fun with it! But... I don't really find myself in any spots where it would be useful. Every time I ever try to use it, I just kinda die. Sometimes I try to use it again like how I used to years ago, but no. It just ends up doing me no good.
