What a lovely talk, Ali! Thank you so much for sharing it with me. It’s such a wonderful addition to have to your piece in the heiter ‘Homecoming’ issue. I haven’t gone though all the phases that you have through yet, but I could really relate to parts of your story. “Being teased” is very familiar to me, so is working in a corporate fashion environment, power dressing, the changes one goes through when becoming a parent - and even though my little ones are only 4 and nearly 2, whenever they disapprove of rubbish being tossed in the streets, and then them wanting to bring it to the next bin, I feel a similar sense a pride - and hope that what we do has an impact. Thank you again! You’re a wonderful and inspiring friend of the earth ❤

This is brilliant Ali, we’ve all had rebrands over the year but we often don’t stop to look Back and recognise the different stages or values that we held important. A wonderful reminder that instead of feeling overwhelmed or defeated by looking at the bigger picture. We can make a difference by taking small steps everyday and growing on that.
@AliClifford3 ай бұрын
I appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment Kathy, that means a lot. It took some 'reflecting' for sure, a kind of acknowledgement of the value of consideration for the smaller things, and you're right, it can be applied to so much in our lives :)

If you glue a button to the tip of the sticks, it makes it easier to keep the yarn from sliding off inadvertently. This is a good method while learning how to knit.

Thanks very much for your video. I’m currently working with a start up (in South Wales) which produces effective natural deodorants (free from Sodium Bicarbonate). We are interested in serving people like yourself who are passionate about natural products as we are. Will you be interested in trying our products for free? This will be within 6months time.
Can these be used for actual soy wax candles? I'm looking for a way to package them and been looking at food wraps.
