31:00 I can't believe my ears, this is literally another shoah, such a woke mentality to accuse the British or Americans of being cruel when they're he most merciful empire in history. America has been a pacifist nation compared to what it could and should have done with its unlimited power... - Adûnâi

02:00 But opposing war is exactly the essence of the woke Christian agenda! And even worse, by denying the war with Russia, you are denying a window of opportunity to overthrow both Washington and Moscow! Terrible analysis. - Adûnâi

This the biggest load of rubbish ever inflicted on the internet. I have actually read Hobsbawm's 'Age of Extremes' and the speaker skipped the bits which didn't suit his hypothesis,that is, the bits about the criminal tendencies of fascism - which are similar to an organised crime enterprise. "Whataboutism" is mere deflection. What someone else did in no way justifies the Nazis, who were the worst purveyors of institutionalised cruelty and murder in human history.

That 1939 assassination attempt is a wild rabbit hole. Several people attested to the assassin being a member of the SS. Then he is killed right before the war ended. Wild stuff.

“A specific fashion that was not very funny…” I’ve heard some clever ways of dodging the overbearing speech laws imposed against Canadians and moreover Europeans but that one might be my favourite. Thanks for much for hosting this interview. Thomas is a fantastic guest and I enjoyed listening to this talk very much. Kind blessings to you and I look forward to hearing where this series goes next.

There's diversity in all ideologies. I listen to a few national socialists, their descriptions of their ideologies would differ a bit from this guys. They'd all agree on most things concerning WW2 though (and would agree with a lot of anti-war libertarians and socialists on those things too!). Have you watched zoomer historian's revisionist videos? 12:30 kinda off topic but while I dislike Sparta but it's worth pointing out that Athens tried to work with them too. tbh the greco persian wars sound like a "ww2 for their era," given how moralistically an avoidable conflict was discussed

25:59 War is the health of the State. 1913, the creation of the FED, which prolonged WW1, ended with huge penalties for Germany. The economic crisis of 1921 ended in 1 year because the state did not intervene. The Economic Crisis of 1929 was prolonged by the US government with its heads Herbert Hoover and FDR who were 2 economics interventionists. Hyperinflation in Germany Hitler is elected. If there is no State there is no stupid War, and businesses can make money elsewhere.

I often hear far-right people say this is the foundation myth of the modern west, so it's good hearing people with radically different politics like libertarians saying it too Sadly, there seems to have been an effort (especially since Ukraine got invaded) to rehabilitate world war ONE - the stuff Horton says about it being taught as the bad war that led to WW2 was true when I went to school, but I fear it's changing, I keep seeing pro-WW1 articles! Even in the UK they taught the US not joining the league of nations, wonder if that's true outside Anglosphere. That said, the ethnic group that rules america and drives it into war is not the Anglos dreaming of a new British Empire >_<

I'm not a libertarian (I'm mostly the pro-german side) but I love your videos on this topic, so I look forward to you interviewing revisionists with various political views as you say. I got tricked into thinking Germany and Japan were the "good guys" or "lesser evils" when i first read about how much worse the allies were than is usually presented, and how much less bad (or understandable the bad deeds were) the other side was. But I now realize they both sucked >_< A pro-Japan perspective exists too but almost everyone with a pro-German POV probably has that and vice versa I've seen some people who think it was justified for some countries to enter the war but not others (usually "not justified for the USA to enter) and obviously there's a LOT of 'revisionists' who oppose some aspects of the war (e.g. conscription, bombing civilians) but not the war itself.
@manuelgris9995
@manuelgris9995 4 ай бұрын
Thanks! I mostly read about the case of Germany and a lot less about Japan. Japan was clearly imperialist, with some ambitions in China an throughout Asia, and was mainly in rivalry with the USA, which clearly provoked Japan with some embargo, while helping other imperialist powers like UK against Japan, and also refusing free trade for Japan in South America, which the USA considered their backyard. There are also a lot less Hollywood movies about the war crimes of Japan, than about those of Germany. (Ans almost nothing about the war crimes of the Allies!) My goal is mostly to convince people about becoming more antiwar, rather than libertarian! :)

"Why it was not a good war and why it would have better not to intervene. " No war is a 'Good War. ... but as far as 'better not to intervene'... I suspect members of my Jewish family that were murdered during WWII would object.
@manuelgris9995
@manuelgris9995 9 ай бұрын
I'm sorry for them. But you said it yourself, they were murdered even though the Allies intervened... Not intervening means the western governments would not have blockaded any jewish emigration from Europe. Also it's clear for me that until late 1941 the plan was to relocate. A total world war made that impossible, and I don't excuse the Nazis, but it's clear that intervening made the extermination unevitable...

@@manuelgris9995 "Not intervening means the western governments would not have blockaded any jewish emigration from Europe." is your opinion. You cannot possibly know what Western governments would or would not have done. Your 20/20 hindsight / speculation is a complete waste of time.

Congratulations to Manuel, you are absolutely right on warmonger Churchill. British empire met its sunset, since Churchill dug a tomb for the Nation step by step: Boer war, Gallipoli disaster ww1, Norway fiasco ww2 etc. He promoted a war, but didn't have the muscle to show in Poland & Dunkirk theaters. He dragged the world (Canada,Australia,New Zealand,South Africa,India,and USA) into flames in order to preserve the Empire; and fostered monster Stalin communism to poison the entire world . Britain is the one deserved most blames for sacrificing millions of lives during WW2

Churchill was the real "Hitler". And the worst part is he's celebrated as a hero, it's astonishing. But the truth is slowly being revealed and the world will know what a vile character he really was and maybe we will burn effigies of him in the near future. The wrong side won WW2. And now the Atlanticists are attempting to destroy Russia. They used the same strategy as they did in 1939. Replace Poland with Ukraine, Germany with Russia and Britain with the USA and you've got this war in Ukraine. Only this time they are going to lose. The Anglo American power block is disintegrating. They never faced justice for their crimes in WW2, but at least their days of causing harm to the world are coming to an end.

I wouldn't call Churchill a war criminal. He did make mistakes. Gallipoli during WW1 was one of his mistakes. The invasion of Norway to get Norway back from the Germans was a failure. The invasion of southern Italy by British and American troops was Churchill's idea and a disaster. That's what I know. Not a monster or necessarily a bad person but he didn't get everything right but he did hold Britain together as PM during the 2nd World War.
