Even if someone isn't a libertarian, the "a just cause is not enough" part of your argument would still apply and probably make most wars defended on the basis of their just cause, immoral. "Are there alternative ways to achieve the just cause" is almost never considered too.

The justness of the American involvement in the Korean war is an interesting question. The level of killing, especially of civilians, was atrocious. But the aggression of Kim Il Sung was 100% unjustified. Vietnam was a little more complicated. Ho Chi Minh wasn''t as evil as Kim, but was still the aggressor.
