Do you happen to know how to create an ISO that has TPM requirement disabled without flashing it to a USB drive? I need a windows 11 ISO with TPM disabled for a VM on a server that does not have TPM 2.0 and I do not really want flash a drive only to rip the ISO from it, that feels like I am missing an easier way.

They're primarily intended to be used in massive enterprise arrays where the speed of each individual drive doesn't matter mas much as the storage capacity. Since they're typically in some form of a RAID, speed isn't much of an issue for large scale storage.

You can also mod the top cover of the case, drill a hole in it for 2x80mm fans or if the size permits 1x120mm fan. Of course they would be outside (on top) so changes the layout, but they would pull a much bigger air flow. By the looks of it you might even be able to jam 2x80mm fans inside, below the cover, attached to it.

@Warning56kb7 күн бұрын
If it's already making bad noise and especially to the point you can feel it, it's likely toast. If you can catch the very early where you're just barely noticing a change in the sound, they can usually be saved. WRT to your comment at 9:15 When you say "side note: you never want to run a raid card with a ZFS file system" Do you mean that we need to use the raid card in HBA mode?
@Warning56kb14 күн бұрын
@@twinprimeable Correct! In hindsight I wish I expanded on it a bit more. The issue lies with two things wanting overall control and to manage housekeeping (ZFS vs RAID) at the same time. In HBA mode (IT mode) the controller simply passes all information to the OS and lets ZFS work its magic.
