Ik ben daar in 96 en 97 daar met de fiets geweest en verbleef op de camping tegen het station. Ik herinner me deze samenstellingen dan ook nog zoals te zien in jouw opnames.

What I heard the problem was reliability issues, they were already old when NZR purchased them from QR.

They were old and piss weak. Same engine as the DC and DF.

Thanks enjoyed that. I always associate Claytons with Scotland but I know that they also worked in N.England. Never saw them in action.

What a beast. Sounds like 37906. Can't believe the Belgians open up in tunnels as well. We should get this for a Nene Valley gala.

You'r right, it has a flavor of slug, I've had several times a carbide in 37901, being a member of the ELR. Having these locos on a NVR gala is a good, yet costly proposition, at least they can acommodate stock with continental gauge. And I even remember a trip with TSP on a train headed by 2 AFB EMD class 52's full throttle trough the north-south tunnel station in Brussels leaving the people on the platforms sufficated and with bleeding ears, the Belgians know their thrash too!

The best-sounding non-British diesel I've ever heard. Sounds somewhere between 37906 or a class 35 'Hymek' in the UK. De best-klinkt niet Britse diesel die ik ooit heb gehoord. Klinkt tussen 37906 of een klasse 35 ergens 'Hymek' in het UK. Le diesel non-britannique qui sonne mieux I le 'VE jamais entendu. Bruits quelque part entre 37906 ou une classe 35 'Hymek' au R-U. Vaarwel! Ik zie je later!
