How does this machine compare to the FLEX PXE 80 in terms of functionality? I get such different impressions when reading comments, some say it stalls all the time, others say it is at least as strong as the FLEX PXE 80!?

Spoiler alert! All the FLEX PXE 80 adaptors fit this polisher, DA adaptors, backing plates, RO extenders, and also all the APS parts/kits for the FLEX PXE. They all quick lock right into place. The only things that are not interchangeable are the batteries themselves. I figured this out after I received my new FLEX PXE 80, and bummer, it was defective. It had little power and would stall 3" pads attached to the 12mm DA adaptor without any downward force applied. The only thing I noted missing from making it complete for all my needs, was only a 2" backing plate. I just happen to have 2" plate from the APS kit I had ordered for the Flex that was returned. Backing plate issues fix: Just use the FLEX PXE backing plates (you'll should have at lease 1 extra spare plate on hand anyways). Great review. Thanks. Note: 3" APS foam pads require a 2" backing plate (maybe that saves the plate?).

Had my car for 12 years and never washed it once, rain took care of the washing, yes its dirty but its nowhere near as dirty as your car after missing a wash a month or two. Maybe the chemicals you put on it attract dirts? How else does companies sells these products stay in business?

Hi Paul, not sure if you follow the DIY Detailing channel, but they have many good tips. One is to use the rotary at the lowest speed (besides other benefits, it won't make mess) and keep it flat, not in an angle. Also be careful with the offers for the SEO improvement etc., some of those are scams.
