I have always liked Golders Green. There is something very interesting about an ‘enclave’ area of a city which makes you feel that you are in another part of the world, and GG with its very Jewish culture is once such place.

As somebody who grew up in Enfield and lived there for 35 years, I would not move back in. However, I would look more towards Cheshunt and coming up to Hertfordshire. Schools are better in Hertford and the living standards are better. Crime is much lower too because it does not border Edmonton and Tottenham. I'm a teacher by the way.

Your captions are not quite correct. Using the timings on your timeline they should read: 00:00 St John's Road 04:21 Lavender Hill (there is no Battersea Road that I know of in the area) 14:05 St John's Hill 15:35Lavender Hill However, even this is not strictly accurate since the video begins on Battersea Rise and heads east after which you turn left (north) at 3:53 into St John's Road. Presumably Maps can assist you in making any corrections from there should you choose to do so but, for example, the façade of the Arding & Hobbs department store on which the camera lingers at 8:41 is on St John's Road . Then at 10:04 it turns left (west) up St John's Hill. After crossing St John's Hill into what was once known as(Clapham Junction) Station Approach, the camera heads east back towards Arding & Hobbs, takes a brief excursion inside the station's retail concourse, emerges back onto St John's Hill and turns left. At 20:40 it is outside The Falcon pub facing Lavender Hill at its junction with Falcon Road, St John's Road and St John's Hill. Thinking about it, your animated character at the start represented your actual route much more accurately than your captions. TYI I went to school on Battersea Rise, worked during my final year school holiday in Arding & Hobbs and lived near the end of Falcon Road so my research was done almost by permeation!
