I think you’re doing something wrong lmao… if their battered troops are winning against your 100% HP stormvermin then I think you’re doing something very very wrong

@@person4436 I mean, it isn't like they are getting killed. They are simply running away like 5 sec after getting in contact with anything stronger than basic melee troops, further disrupting missile units. Zero holding power. And I don't have similar problems with any other faction maybe with an exception for bretonnia. Dreadspears? They carry me to a late game. Hobgoblins? They don't break that easily when chaos dwarfs are nearby. Can make them work. Hell, even empire spearmen or zombie pirate mob can get the job done. But skaven? Their frontline might as well not exist

@@person4436 I mean, I know it is quite unpopular opinion, but I don't really see the point of playing as them. Yes, some of their factions like Ikit or Throt have really interesting mechanics, but so do the chaos dwarfs. Their economy is mediocre at best. Yes, it is a nice to have a wall building that pays you some money, but that's it. Compare it to dark elves, who, thanks to enormous post battle loot and not so much voluntary labour, are basically drowning in money. On the battlefields Chaos dwarf can do the same things, but better. Reliable infantry? Check. Powerful monstrous cavalry? Check. Artillery? Even if plagueclaw catapult and lightning canon are good, they simply cannot compare to magma canon or dread quake mortar in a sheer destructive power. The exception is medium range - here the chaos dwarfs have very limited options, but they more than make up for that with their artillery and blunderbusses

@@kamilkozowski105 ikit is maybe the strongest ranged faction in the game, throt can destroy ranged armies and melee troops with his fast moving and hard hitting monsters, snikch or whatever his name can make good use of really good skirmishing infantry and stalk infantry, clan mors can buff clan rats and make them somewhat good, tretch can make really really good stormvermin armies that can beat anything in melee, like if you don’t find skaven overpowered then you’re just playing them wrong. Their late game, early game and mid game are all pretty damn strong and every skaven ranged unit except slingers are useful all throughout the campaign, oh and also armor piercing wolves, etc, all of that make skaven a really good army but with actual flanking power unlike the chaos dwarves

@@person4436 I know I am playing them wrong. Everyone is saying how powerful they are, but I cannot really see that. Everytine I am playing as them I feel like my units are underperforming to the point I want to end the game and play another campaign as khorne to destroy anything that moves. Maybe it is simply not a faction for me

against silver shields that also have range? Nah fam. They were getting wrecked at range.

That probably explains how the plauge ogres lost. I've never seen that happen before.

Thanks for the comment and suggestion, I did try this but the Chaos Lord Nurgle dominated completely and Theodore Bruckner barely did any damage. I'll try it again and see if he does any better!

Nah it aint, its good that they are tier 2 and not tier 3, they are supposed to be disposable. They are not supposed to outclass chaos warriors, that would be dumb.

And pestigors have vanguard deployment, poison attacks, 25% projectile resistance and a skill that reduces enemy movement. The only advantage of bestigors over pestigors is that they are armored, which is not small, but pestigors are much more flexible for much less cost.

yeah, no clue why bestigors are so bad. it feels like lack of damage actually maybe devs though that there are so many ways to increase their stats that they will be op... well they won't

You forgot if you would actually play both in 1v1 with faction abilities and spells they would even be better against bestigors
