I saw this vid years ago when I had my Rx7 now I also own a 92 si hatch but is an sir jdm full B16, planning to build though maybe all wheel drive as well, now they have more plug and play stuff. 💯👍👍👍

I can give a shit how much HP a car has, so long as the suspension is immaculate and the car handles like its on rails... Seen too many "fast" cars in the twisties lose it in the first turn while the tortise stayed the course...

I ran with my EK 1997 b20 vtec, ebay turbo kit ,fwd with 325hp... 11.56 @ 119 mph 1/4 mile ! That EG is a milk truck ! Haha ! I forgot to write! Is a 1997 EK coupe ex !! Full chassis,full power, a/c, p/s,stereo!

At 4:06 500+ hp = 10.7 1/4 mile. A stock gtr is an 11.1 and weighs almost double with about the same power. Shouldn't this car be in the 9s or low 10s? The launch must be weaker since they are running a CRV trans?

Car should definitely be in the 9 '. There are 9 second civic all motor making less then 500 to just the front wheels making high 9 second passes. He'll 10.7 I could turn up boost on my stroker H and mount slicks and run with this thing.

Yea I'd say that's a safe bet. The AWD set ups have a lot of appeal but those units were never ever designed for that much power or that mind of abuse. AWD+Dry conditions = massive wear and tear. So I'm in agreement there, possibly the reason why they aren't going with a full slick that amount of traction would be hell on that drive train.
