Years ago he flew to Roma in his priest costume, and the Italian Police were not happy when in Seminrhe tried to come into the Vatican. Comedy anymore is nothing less then a bunch of petty egotistical borderline illiterate hacks who spent 12 minutes pissing on their own legs waiting for applause. Gone are the days of Father Guido and all of the greats who came before him. Jack Benny, Jonathan Winters, George Carlin, Sid Caesar, the list is long and storied. But these progenitors broke ground and made smooth the road for the diluted talent that claims to be comedic genius. Steven wright in my opinion is the last comic who can claim that distinction

OK there funny; But in reality the Ten Commandment's the Christian's hold on too as being those that were first supposedly written by GOD and then supposedly rewritten, when the dude's temper got the best of him and destroyed the original's. Are but ten almost word for word of the more than 300 envolved in the Jewish religion. Thus plagorized, just as the Bible is simply a edited plagoristic version of the various book's that existed, prior to the attempt to destroy any and all of those, which until they were found. Left only the original and the various edited version's of the bible. I've alway's found it ironic how Christian's hold the KJV so dear to them. When the issue I and the majority of other simular to me have with the bible. Is in it's title King James "VERSION". There were prior version's to the one King James had edited to fit his agenda, as were all the previous version's had been done for the same reason. Assuming it still exist, the original which was the various part's of other book's that made it into the final, based on the agenda of those who were envolved in coming up with it. Give's credence to the fact that even the original is simply a VERSION. Same thing applies to the Koran, though there is no more and perhap's never was an origainal, there is today one of some 12 being referred to as the original. The belief in a GOD or GOD's is entire based on "FAITH" that the "VERSION" you accept is the Correct VERSION. Which because it's but one VERSION of many VERSION'S is the issue. Living an entire life having "FAITH" that your living in line with the one and only correct VERSION and finding out upon you death, it was the wrong one. Can and will cause you to end up in hell. With there being so many version's, and no real one there based on. Mean's having faith in anyone of them is having no less odds than not having faith in any of them. AKA Atheism is but just one more way of being incorrect in the choice of version's one has to choose from. Assuming there was but only two "VERSION'S" and not the dozen or more there are. Choosing one over the other is based on the faith the one you choose which is still a "VERSION" is correct. Not choosing either is a choice which those who do choose say is incorrect. But at the end of the day, Choosing either or none has the same exact odds.

My favorite story from him was when he said he had the bill from the last supper. It showed that there were 13 people. 12 had a meal and a drink. 1 just had a drink. But it shows how they divided it by 13 to see how much each owed, so that one guy that just had the drink got screwed.

Father Guido was introduced before SNL, on the Smothers Brothers show in the early 70s. He is one of the best and funniest clean comedians of all times.

I miss those days ...Loved him
