Give credit where credit is due, nuff respect to the past west indies gladiators for their yeoman service. After 27 years of not beating Australia in Australia it is a must that we give thanks to the Almighty first, the management for the team and the players for such a great performance. Dont forget, they were written off. This test match had the whole world at the edge of their seats. We thank God for this young man ( Shamar Joseph) who showed the world what loyalty and sacrifice meant. The whole world is proud of him, if every team member offer themselves in this fashion, west indies will be a force to be reconned with in the future. To God be the glory, only He can cause nothing to be something, He is worthy of all the praise and all the glory.

This is the first prime principal story that tells truth to Shamar Joseph international success, from his triumphant at 24years, i believe he was lost within the system, praises to him staying in the picture to the opportunity that presented itself and by the grace of God he has excell well. the important thing for him now, is to recognize the principles of performance to the things that he needs to be doing, quality work rate throughout the games eventhough he might not take any wickets, refining the components skills is key, Technical Alignment to the component, and fluency within the mechanical components, also his batting should he look to develop well in that area, the next 3-5years he will know where he is. The conflict with the board and government in the island has been bad and this has hinder progress to the require levels, however, the government must be obligation to its people in the Caribbean, which to me, they are failing badly, sport is a lucrative business that transformed lives, elevate people to achieve greatness, the people can benefit vastly from, but the avenues are not being created, yet Shamar is being portrait as a great example and the whole of the Caribbean is together, yes i am happy that it has open our hearts but has it open our mind to do the correct things that will enhance and benefit West Indies Cricket and the people

For Shamar ,, yesterday's labor ,, now by his humble upbringing he's on the cusp of enjoying the fruits of all his labors...... TODAY ! I will ask him to remain humble as he rides the crest of West Indies Cricket ,, his spring board for being where he is ,, n to always be the Baracara STAR that will bring LIGHT to the initiation of naming his birth place as SHAMAR CITY !

He's very strong!!! Mckenzie is not a big man in statue but you just get the feeling that when he sprang on Joseph's neck both of them could easily fall and injured themselves. Thank God that didn't happened.

As a West Indian, we always love fairy tale stories. My grandmother was from Berbice, and i recall her tales of life in the "jungle', and about the warahoons, the bucks, the tigers, the alligators, casareep, .... This istruly a Fairy Tale come true

Very few things makes me cry, seeing my team beat the brakes off of Australia and our new hero Shamar (lightening fast) Joseph shatter the Aussies had me in tears. I was driving at the time, I was listening to the commentary with extreme rage, willing my boys on to break the backs of the Aussies and it happened. I was hostile, I was raging with heavy heart pounding happiness and tears. I’m a die hard West Indian, I know I will live to see our boys dominate world cricket again, over the past 20 yrs we have been witnessing spells of this dominance show its head, this young man is helping to make this possible. Well done Shamar, keep that focus, make lots of money, play with absolute Caribbean spirit, play that calypso cricket and smash the world up!!! I’m with you brother.

Haha I got a shock when he said he was hoping to play. I am now his number 1 Australian fan and I really hope he goes well. Like many many Australians West Indies will always be our Number 2 team

I'm sure it's exciting to be touring with WI to Australia, this can make or break anyone making their test debut as a fast bowler, I'll tell you bro, give it all you have, I mean pace, get the ball to zing close to their ears, the Australians don't like that, best of luck...
