Rotary Club of New Amsterdam unveils Shamar Joseph billboard at the Berbice High School Ground.
This ground is the home of the Tucber Park Cricket Club, a club that has produced fast-bowlers Shamar Joseph, Romario Shepherd and Nial Smith in recent times.
Joseph will forever be in the hearts of cricket fans after he etched his name in the record books with a match-winning 7-68 in Australia to deliver West Indies a famous Test win.

Give credit where credit is due, nuff respect to the past west indies gladiators for their yeoman service. After 27 years of not beating Australia in Australia it is a must that we give thanks to the Almighty first, the management for the team and the players for such a great performance. Dont forget, they were written off. This test match had the whole world at the edge of their seats. We thank God for this young man ( Shamar Joseph) who showed the world what loyalty and sacrifice meant. The whole world is proud of him, if every team member offer themselves in this fashion, west indies will be a force to be reconned with in the future. To God be the glory, only He can cause nothing to be something, He is worthy of all the praise and all the glory.
