This set up does not require an toggle switch to flip on and off manually when arriving to 4th gear? If so can that toggle switch be left on at all times or do you have to switch it off for example every time you get off the high way?

thinking about buying this for my 1980 cj7 that has a 350 sbc in it. its a rats nest under the dash and in the engine bay from the previous owner. Would this connect to the stock gauges that are oem for my year ?

I can't seem to find mine I have a 86 camaro that's been converted to carburetor it shifts smooth but just found out about the TC lockup switch but I don't see one on the camaro Not sure what it looks like and the repair manuals don't mention anything about it

This harness is nice because all the wires are labeled but thats where the painless part ends and the headache begins. They advertise this as a plug and play harness and its not. Its actually the complete opposite of plug and play. You have to read a 300 page book and its the worst set of directions ive ever seen. Ikea furniture comes with better instructions. Then you have to pin about 98% of the wires. What does that mean? None of the plugs or connections are attached, you have to do that and you need special tools to do it. Im 4 months into this and im not even close to done but i only work on it when the weather is nice and weekends mostly to be fair. I purchased this because it was advertised as plug and play and i feel like is was mislead. That being said is there another brand that is easier,? I doubt it

What I don't like about this kit , is the bulkhead connector only allows partial engagement , as the bolt limits this travel It is impossible to fully insert the connector , when installing to confirm the pins all align , due to the bolting method, So if the pins are misaligned , you won't know until its too late
