it's the best fucking place on earth. it changed my life...took me out of depression and made me see the good in life. made me not want to waste time in life being upset about things i cant change...and if i can change it, its up to me to change that negative cloud above me. make the most of my life and make the best memories while i can in life and not end up regretting not enjoying more of life with no memories to look back on. I buy an extra ticket every year and give it to a friend who's never been and i think should experience this magical place and maybe it can change their life too. its so much deeper than just a cool party with great music and getting fucked up with friends in the woods. it's like you leave all the real world behind at the highway, and be yourself worry free. you don't have time to think about the problems going on in your life or just the world. When you're at shambhala, you're with 20000 of your best friends. there's no way to properly explain just how incredible this place. It impacted my life in a way that I want to share that with other people that i feel could beneit from the positive energy of the festival this is now the second time I've watched this video in full, and it brings me joy watching how much you enjoyed your first year...my first year was 2014 cheers

It just makes me feel grotty looking back on this sort of scene and the critically stupid and vacuous people around those sort of things who think they're coined into some sort of extraterrestial secret. Spoiler: you're not and you're actually operating on extremely low brain on psychedelics. Nearly every experience I thought was life-changing at a festival turned out to be a vapid waste of resources, and nearly every friendship I had with people I thought I had connections with in some sort of all-night drug frenzy was a load of crap. I wish I could get those wasted years back and put them into something more productive. Growing back brain cells is amazing, and you would appreciate life and smaller things that much more getting tf out, trust me. Please work out how much quality living time you're wasting with the best years of your life and gfto please. Go trekking in a jungle or up a mountain, go get an inspirational job where you help others, take a trade up, make stuff, grow plants, look after animals, spend time with your family.
