Miss you guys! Hope all is well down your end and that you're enjoying this season with the kiddos and fur baby. It's been a while since I've seen you upload. So, the hubs and I went on our anniversary trip back in November. Went to the Boathouse on our arrival day. I dunno if we ordered items that aren't the greatest or if it was an off night for them. (The place was pretty packed). We weren't thrilled. 😬 The food was meh. My hubs got the steak with asparagus cuz he's not a huge seafood person as I am. I got the lobster roll. Oh, and we ordered the firecracker shrimp, I believe that was the name. We enjoyed the shrimp! but that's about it. 😮💨 The lobster roll was underwhelming or maybe it was my fault for ordering that. We loved our server though. She was very attentive. Anyways, the hubs and I left saying, we should have gone to The Polite Pig. lol Anyways just checking in on you guys. Wanted to say hello and add an update to my last comment. Take care!

Hey Jessica! Thanks so much for your message. We are taking a small break and focusing on our regular day jobs right now. We will get back to it soon once we are on a schedule again! We miss going to Disney! Sorry to hear about your experience at the Boathouse! Not sure what happened there, but I hope this was just an off night for them. You know.. it's funny. the more we eat out the less impressed we are. My favorite dish on property is still the Thai Coconut meatballs at the Polynesian. And they cost $10.50! Ha.

How cool do you HAVE to BE! Disney is OBSESSIVE about making the image right, so these dudes had to interview and some of the requirements are 'You have to be in this range of the right height', and then after, 'Play marching drums, be better than the rest of the candidates.' and then AFTER that, 'Also never have done anything illegal in your past and gotten good grades in school all the way through.' Also you have to be naturally charismatic, and be comfortable working in 100 degree weather in costume and covered in green goo at all times. Each of these green soldiers is one of the most unlikely people on the planet.
