The one thing these trx4m’s suffer from on terrain like this is lack of ground clearance.I know because I own 3.I this this body though and you did a great job decking it out.👍🏼

Nice I like them both nice rack. I just completed two builds a i40 / TRXM build & a I60 new truck body build on a Ascent 18. I’m really liking them especially the Ascent build it’s already performing better then expected. Thanks for sharing love seeing rigs out. 👍

I like the rack setup man. How do you get your front clip to work? Mine won't grab either way I do the rear hinge

I tried to use the stock front clip and it is not set up right for the MEUS chassis, move the rear to the farthest forward mounting holes and I used an aluminum, rear clip and flipped it, its not perfect yet but i will update if i find a better solution.

Ish, so it will need some chassis mods, this body is only designed for the land-rover and bronco chassis as of right now. INJORA said that they are working on a scx24 version but nothing on a hightrail.

I've been eyeing on this model for quite sometime now, it's either this or R1001, and I agree with you about the blinkers 😂 why should we tell people when we're turning in the trail. If only they program it with hazards, then I'm okay with it

Hi love that Hilux body! But why is your video is in vertical format? And M4 screws are big as your HB R1011 stub axles, I believe it's m1 or m1.5. Remember, the bigger the number, the bigger the size, m6 is 10mm in size 😅

i tested both the stock axles and they are about 10mm short. i even ordered the MEUS extended portals and they are 5mm short.

Losi mini-t 2.0 front 30mm springs fit the spring retainer cups on the hb. They drop the car about 10mm giving better stability and a much softer suspension. Give them a try they really make the hb perform!

I had 2 of these HB Toys R1011 Jeeps, the first one the ESC caught on fire & the 2nd. one something broke inside the axle & belive me, I didn't push it like you did in this video. Not saying you abused yours, but these shouldn't break that easily. Sent both of mine back & got a full refund.

New sub here. Loving all the clones that are better than the originals. I have the austar ax8560 and it's so much more truck than the trx4m. Haven't picked up a single comp build since I got it, just trailing.

The only mods i have done right now are 120mm shocks and 120mm tires with injora blue silicone and brass portals.

The motor is ( most probably ) an Injora 370 70T oem version . The first 8560 motors came out with the Injora labeling on them and these motors are identical in appearance so they're almost certainly the same especially with AustarHobby's purported relationship with Injora .

No, they won't work. They are different lengths and will cause the wheel to hit the fenders. If you plan to chop it up, it will, unfortunately, only the standard links work.

Speaking of which I'm not even going to chop off the servo protectors - I ordered a regular trx4m servo horn which has a lower profile that I'm hoping will fit and will pass underneath the servo protectors but it's a long shot that it'll work . Either way - I'm not chopping them off !

Yes they mount up good, but if you get the shock with the "piggyback" resi it hits the underbody.

@@GearShiftPlayground A lot of free mods out there. First and foremost is the steering mod. They put bump stops to limit the steering. Remove those to not burn out the servo. The tires aren't bad. Just really hard foam. Remove those and add a little brass to the front axle. You'll see a definite improvement. I had a set of the original trx4m plastic oil filled shocks. Put them on it to dampen the bounce. But, you don't have to. It outperformed my almost stock trx4m defender right out of the box.

Ever since i bought metal wheels and better tires i keep breaking the driveshaft and having to rerigg it back together.do u know if trxm metal drive shafts will work on these? If not do u know what will. I can't find upgrades parts for this thing

Yes the drive shafts work, just look for the ones that are keyed to fit and dont have a bunch of slop.
