turns out you can play in conrete sand because there are iron fillings there that could go inside the motor.

🤣 i said the same thing, i couldnt even get up the first bump in 2nd gear.
@HiggsBCF1552 ай бұрын
I was thinking exactly the same thing :) even with my slightly tuned reely freemen 2.0 i could easily get up there.... i have no experience with bouncers but i suspect that it's simply due to the low ground clearance and the enormous power.... but these two things will be the attraction for those who pursue this hobby :) I suspect that they will get through muddy terrain better with these vehicles than we do with the crawlers, simply because of their high revs at the wheels🤷♂

when u use 120mm shocks did u change other parts? like rods?
@ST_RC2 ай бұрын
Nope, the only thing i had orginally changed was the shocks. i added the aluminum ones after the fact. My main issue i have is the front locker cable is to short and causes it not to droop 100% but when flexed out i can get 100% per wheel. Im going to be making some changes after my last trail run.
@crispaullopez80372 ай бұрын
@ do u think 130mm tire will work on 120mm lenth shocks? because by mistake i purchased 130mm tire set. cruising is managable but crawling needs some lift because tires are touching the fenders
@ST_RC2 ай бұрын
@@crispaullopez8037 The tires i have are 120mm and are to big imo. I had issues with clearing the inside fenders and had to cut a chunk off. At full lock it binds. i feel like if they had a 115mm tire it would be perfect.

Does it have to be a buggy style rig or could you use a truck ? There a rule set like crawler comps somewhere?

Essentially, it was a run what you brung event. I could have used my rig, but it’s not set up for that at all. Since it was just a Facebook group event, I can't say for sure what the rules were. I was simply invited to come out and check it out!

whats gyro?
@cysleo63472 ай бұрын
Basically, is a thing to make the drift go smoother. When it connect to the rc car, it gives a counter turn on the front wheels when the car swings to one side
@ST_RC2 ай бұрын
A Gyro is a part of the steering system that assists with counter steering.

Nice job, my MB18 is due tomorrow also in White, you're the only person I've seen who also bought one. If you go back to your assembly instructions all those numbers starting with M are the specs for screw/bolt size so M1.4*5 means a metric 1.4 screw/bolt that is 5mm long. They also specify which ones are flat head screws, the rest are bolts. Hope you have good luck to your rig I'll should have mine up and running by this time tomorrow Regards - Mark

I've had 2 of these, the first one the ESC shorted out & caught on fire. The 2nd one stripped out in the one side in the rear axle on the first drive. Sent both back & got refunded. WLTOYS 104010 Jeep seems like the better option & built better & costs less.
