I don't have the box set/book yet, but hopefully very soon! Great review as always, and I was unaware of the live bootleg CDs that you featured, and that really excited me more so than the product, as I was at the Philadelphia Pennsylvania show with my best friend in 2006. It was so exciting getting to experience an album of new material prior to its release. Nevertheless, once I have this box set/book, I will be doing a review as well. Thank you so much! =) Cheers!

@@Ppj29qT Hello PP J For me Jethro Tull is an entity that follows from This Was to RökFlöte. Ian Anderson being the project manager. But it’s true that it took me a while to appreciate À passion play, especially since at the time I bought it after Aqualung. Completely destabilized, it took me a while to get over the disappointment. But there are albums that take time to be appreciated. But that’s the prerogative of progressive.

Love your Channel. TG, COIL and C&C all were, and are influences on our work in experimental music, since 1988. Especially, how eclectic they all were, which contributed greatly to our love of their solo work, as well as within TG. They also teach us not to limit our imagination. We follow this. From noise to experimental jazz, blues, to Tom Waits to a 20 Jazz Funk Greats sound, and whatever else comes in a session. We just let it happen, and it does. We've dedicated a few of our latest releases to COIL because it seems, otherwise they may be forgotten, if there aren't constant reminders of their contribution to electronic music, and music in general. Thanks.

Got all the albums remastered so would only want the surround sound but only four albums done so won't bother. Would also prefer album sleeve replicas rather than those card booklets, yuk. Book looks nice but not much writing, mostly pics that we've all seen before. Doesn't look as good as the Caravan and Steve Hillage boxes. Not bothered about this one.
@Ppj29qT11 ай бұрын
I don't know if surround sounds better? I don't know how the remastered albums sound like. I don't know if I can tell anyway. The music is great that's the most important. Enjoy.

I really like it all that you bought. About the new live album, it's really and really weird they (or maybe talking about Wilson) don't put a CD album package, separete from the BOXSET. Yeah, maybe everyone want to watch again the concert to see them again, but also the music they performed is important to listen again and again. Yes, we have it in any streaming app, but also, have the physical music in a low price is even better. I hope they´ll put on purchase a 2CDs/BR, but I don't think so, it's a shame u.u

Hi Rase177. Like you I often don't get it. Is this maketing? I expect that SW is a smart guy and he knows what he is doing. Maybe waiting to see how the album or boxset sells and then anticipating? @chuckpadgettmusic10 ай бұрын
Rajaz, along with all Camel albums released in the ‘90s and beyond, were released independently by Andy Latimer as Camel Productions. Decca still own the catalog from the band’s initial run so they can re-release that material as they see fit. All other albums can be purchased directly from Camel Productions at their website.
