Slice of life is severely underrated genre to the general anime community.

It was good at first but sadly the fanservice especially with the children grossed me out, dont even get me started on the whole ped0philia thing that turned a lot of people away from this anime :,( believe me i really liked this anime but it's just fetish fuel for ped0a

Pretty much anything in the studio put out was a masterpiece in terms of Art and animation. Violet evergardens lake scene In particular. Especially after all the build up to get to that point. Made me cry.

Before I discovered the anime gate, I saw the anime outbreak company. Watching episodes 1 introduction, I was very intrigued with the concept. As I was finishing the anime, I was disappointed with how it turned out. Then I saw gate. And I loved it. Gate is what I was hoping outbreak company was going to be like.

I don’t care how many people in my lifetime said they hate Bakugo. I will fully defend his name. Yes, he did bully deku, but if you actually pay attention to the manga or the anime, he clearly states to all might that he bullied deku to protect him and bring down his dreams of becoming a hero so in other words, he was basically trying to save his life, and repeatedly in the anime, you can see his respect for deku by literally getting himself killed multiple times and also his color character development is actually insane

If you want to watch a really good slice of life, watch Perfect Days. It's a about a guy who cleans toilets. It's peak cinema.

I feel like this anime is not really about a battle of evil and good, but it is an anime about self discovery. Sayo and Utena both did not realize prior to the event animated that they were a sadist (utena) and masochist (sayo) And I’m sure that everyone else begins to get character development later in this series. I did not know that this anime was ecchi before I started watching it so when it got into that, I was surprised, but the whole whole situation first had me laughing so hard that I had to keep watching 😂

I really liked this anime, until the last 2 episodes of season 3. Completely made me lose all interest in more of the story, because if we do get more, itll just be "hey babe, can we get ANOTHER wife? Lol im so much like my dad, haha"

Absolutely love this anime.

S1 was amazing as a comedy but the author should've realized that Cid being an idiot is a schtick that will wear out its welcome eventually, so the story should've transitioned into taking itself a bit more seriously. S2 was still good at places but overall it was rushed and disjointed.

I know The Eminence in Shadow is not to be taken seriously and I do like over the top stupid animes. But despite me trying to turn off my brain, Eminence in Shadow still manages to cause the feeling of brain rot mostly because of main characters, Cid Kagenous cringe ass antics. Mayde some enjoy watching show about a delusional egdelord but that just isnt my cup of tea.

Ngl, once the anime was around 4-5 episodes in, I decided I needed more, so I went and binged the manga, and man it just gets so much better in the later chapters past where the anime ends, so I'm REALLY hoping we get a season 2. The saddest part though is that not long after I caught up, the mangaka announced an indefinite hiatus, which still hasn't ended... It's been months... Also this shit keeps happening, I got caught up with Nagatoro as well, and like a month later or something it was announced that that would end soon (in fact as of writing we're waiting for the last chapter, it's been 17 days since the last one, it could drop literally any minute now).

Amazing review that captured the essence of ehy this is my favorite series ever created and the best anime of this year by far for me (although I am heavily biased when I say that lol).
