@Light Warriors, you haven't Seen or Played Soul Calibur 4 for the Xbox 360/PS3, which has Starkiller, aka the Apprentice, as a Guest Character. His Moveset in that Game is a bit Different than in the Force Unleashed. Go Check it out bro.

As the 100th comment I’d like to note that the sith flurry is a combo! It shouldn’t be an example of how form V would be fought with a reverse grip because it’s primarily just a series of attacks. I could see it not being practical in a realistic sparring circumstance, but you can see it’s lots of flourishes and spin movements in order to feint.

How did you make such a solid video with legit info about the Jedi, especially the Sentinels, yet you pronounce Coruscant with a hard second C 😂? It’s NOT pronounced as Korr-uh-sKaunt; it’s Korr-uh-saunt… I mean it really is a GREAT video, but bro... Fix that pronunciation 😜.

Im gonna make my own star wars jedi costume for cosplay though im not look like a well known character. Instead im gonna be myself. My costume will be a mixure of Sith Master Starkiller, Sith Acolyte, Jedi Adventure and Kentos Robe.

So I'm a lil biased I saw your video and I've actually used a lot of what you did with 1 first then to 2 in my dueling group and it actually is practical for dueling and sparring as long as you account for a lot of the cons that may come from it and try to work on those plus reaction and judging distance really matter

I thought I recognized the voice. It took about five minutes longer FASA Star Trek. I have to ask did you ever have a chance to play Mayfair games D6, Star Wars RPG? Can you imagine how awesome that game would be if you added to three Jedi classes of Guardian, counsellor, or Sentinel Jedi?

I was able to do the basic spin using this but can you do the combos of starkiller like this for epileptic specal needs first time saber users. Also does it matter if you use your opposite hand as that is your dominant hand when you are cosplaying him

4:05 what I like to do here is I use my thumb, and pointer and middle fingers to grip the blade and leave my ring and pinky fingers on the other side of the blade to allow me to quickly transition from reverse to normal grip It allows a quick transition between grips

I wish that the Jedi Sentinels were more common in the Jedi Order (aside from Luke's as he noted that many in his order naturally fell into the category, especially those of the first class, due to having lived normal lives before joining), in part because of one of Kreia's quotes about the force in KOTOR 2: "Take the greatest Jedi Knight, strip away the Force, and what remains? They rely upon it, depend upon it. More than they know." which is seen time and again in Legends where non force sensitives see things that (in part) are shrouded using dark side techniques targeted at the Jedi.

I never knew I needed to see this and it's absolutely glorious. Kudos for having the patience to break down and replicate this combo to a tie ! I'm wondering, since this is the Sith Flurry, not the regular Shien combo, could this technically count as Starkiller's own version of Juyo ? It definetely has to

You need not only draw Form V from his power attacks. The reverse grip is also part of the Shien variant.

Okay after studying some analytics - concluded that the watch time % of these videos is too low! Not going to give up since I have too much time and training invested. Possible fixes - 1. Get a proper camera, one that works well in low light. 2. Change the format of tutorial videos to real-time instruction rather than talking over all of this with these long periods of silence. 3. Mix up the topics to more elucidate why the hell I'm doing this and why others should do it too. Feel free to comment with feedback, but this channel has also barely gotten started.

If you don't have short lightsabers, you can do this with two sticks about 24 to 30 inches long, which can be like traditional Kali rataan cane sticks or anything you can find.

I think the sentinels had powers not related, but sometimes similar to, the force E.g. barely connected to the force, but extremely high natural luck, literally measurable. Or they had ability to manipulate reality (aka they have magic), like a Dr Strange type of situation.

In universe, Galen Marek aka the original Starkiller's chosen fighting forms are Soresu, Shien and Juyo. This one in particular looks like Shien-inspired Juyo (reverse handgrip plus rapid staccato slashes). The clone from TFU2 uses Ataru, Shien and Niman under the umbrella of Jar'Kai.

You don't need to use the force to spin the lightsaber in your hand. I can tell you firsthand that with enough practice and technique, you can practically will it to change grips. I did this by practicing with a collapsible lightsaber while it was closed, then when it's opened, it'll be a million times easier
