I like how you mentioned exercise. This is good for the joints, hand-eye coordination, reflexes, speed, and upper body strength(although marginally). And it's fun!

It's great for upper body strength if you have a full size saberpike. Not so great for your jaw if you're a beginner and are doing it in the dark though.

I call the ‘3 point snake’ a senseless spin, as I learned it from SabreProject. It’s probably the most important and best spin out there, as well as the fastest one when you do it right. A few things though: 1) I’ve never heard of using your fingers to push the spin, I just use the rotation of my hand to turn it not my actual fingers. The fingers are only useful when inverting or spinning it through your fingers. 2) For a lot of these spins you mention keeping it as close to your body as possible, yet then don’t do that. I guess it does usually come through practice but once you’ve got more of that you’ll have them much tighter, especially that senseless spin. 3) Finally someone agrees with me on the grip! I hate how some people hold the sabre near the bottom. I’ve found that my grip can slip when spinning at high speeds so I occasionally hold it by the blade just above the hilt, using the hilt to stop my hand slipping. This puts my grip almost exactly on the centre of mass and allows for even higher speeds.

I liked all of your ideas for future videos stated at the end. I'm currently making a trip from 286 (currently at 255) pounds to 200 pounds and would love to throw things like this in my workouts.

@charlesgallant44524 жыл бұрын
Awesome! I was trying your tricks with my machete but it's really not easy especially since the blade is quite heavy and wide so it's not really ideal for handling, your lightsaber should probably be a little / a lot lighter 😅 but the litte lesson were really cool and interesting 👍
